Today we're going to (00:00:04) talk about what this sign means in the (00:00:07) natal chart. If you've got any planets (00:00:09) in Sagittarius, as well as which houses (00:00:11) are associated with this sign. So with (00:00:14) the signs again, these are the qualities (00:00:16) and characteristics that come through (00:00:18) life through a certain perspective, (00:00:21) right? So we're going to talk about (00:00:22) these this perspective of Sagittarius (00:00:24) and then what uh qualities and (00:00:25) characteristics come as a result of (00:00:27) this. So if you've got your sun for (00:00:29) example in Sagittarius, it's through (00:00:31) this focus of life, this area of life, (00:00:33) you know, this perspective that these (00:00:35) qualities come through and you can do (00:00:37) this for any planet and you can also do (00:00:39) this for the areas which are the houses (00:00:41) in the natal chart. All right. So (00:00:43) Sagittarius essentially coming after a (00:00:45) fucus and Scorpio. Um those two are were (00:00:48) very much about transformation and as (00:00:51) the u journey goes you know through a (00:00:54) fucus we we went over that galactic (00:00:56) center and as we go over that galactic (00:00:58) center there's transformation there's (00:01:00) change and Sagittarius is essentially (00:01:02) the result of that change what happens (00:01:05) after we transform so if you can imagine (00:01:09) you know after we transform it's very (00:01:10) freeing right this is again the analogy (00:01:12) of the butterfly after the cocoon effect (00:01:15) right we're lighter we're freer fear we (00:01:17) have that top- down perspective as in in (00:01:20) flight. So uh that's a big part of what (00:01:22) Sagittarius is is that top-down (00:01:24) perspectives and really exploring what (00:01:27) life is about you know exploring life (00:01:30) seeing things in this new way and really (00:01:32) asking yourself what is the purpose of (00:01:34) life what is the meaning because life (00:01:36) isn't of course just to transform that's (00:01:38) just a means to the journey or the a (00:01:40) part of the journey now in this part (00:01:43) after the transformation we have a (00:01:45) greater perspective we have that top- (00:01:47) down perspective and through that (00:01:49) naturally comes these qualities of (00:01:51) Sagittarius. So there are things like (00:01:53) optimism, okay? Because when we know the (00:01:56) bigger picture and we see how everything (00:01:58) fits together, we know that it's all (00:02:00) part of a divine plan, if you will, or (00:02:02) it's all part of this bigger picture. (00:02:04) And it's through that bigger picture we (00:02:06) don't get so caught up into the details. (00:02:08) You know, Gemini, which is the sign (00:02:10) opposite Sagittarius, is all about the (00:02:12) meticulous details, the practical (00:02:14) understandings. How can we take these (00:02:17) this optimism or these possibilities (00:02:19) with Sagittarius and actually apply (00:02:21) them? So if you do have a lot of (00:02:23) Sagittarius in your chart, it is good to (00:02:26) balance that with the more practical (00:02:28) side of things which is Gemini. And if (00:02:30) you do have a lot of Gemini, that (00:02:31) practical rational learning, it does (00:02:33) help to see things a bit more (00:02:34) optimistically and really see again (00:02:36) what's possible. So that's the (00:02:38) optimistic side of it. very freedom (00:02:40) loving as you might imagine because this (00:02:42) is the sign where we have to have those (00:02:45) open horizons. We have to see the (00:02:47) future. We have to see what's unfolding (00:02:49) without any of those ceilings. And in (00:02:51) that way, that's what creates a lot of (00:02:53) this uh liberating, freedom loving sort (00:02:56) of energy there. Very purposeful is (00:02:58) another thing. You know, Sagittarius is (00:03:00) the centaur and um the centaur is (00:03:03) shooting that bow and arrow. So, it's (00:03:04) very direct, very purposeful. You know, (00:03:06) this is the sign about the life path in (00:03:08) terms of once we have that overarching (00:03:10) perspective, we understand our purpose. (00:03:13) We understand our life path and we're (00:03:14) very direct and very intent on it. (00:03:16) Remember, this is a this is a fire sign. (00:03:19) So, it's all about that inspiration, (00:03:21) that purpose, that excitement about our (00:03:23) life path and really pursuing it. You (00:03:25) know, it's an active sign, which is (00:03:27) masculine fire, actively pursuing that (00:03:30) life path. And one thing I want to (00:03:31) mention too about Sagittarius is that (00:03:34) the um constellation is a centaur. And (00:03:37) the centaur is essentially a lower (00:03:39) animal uh which is the horse and then (00:03:41) the upper part is the human right or the (00:03:44) god the god aspect of the stuff which is (00:03:46) you know the centaur is a god. So the (00:03:48) key with this is that the lower half is (00:03:51) the the earthly side and if you remember (00:03:53) from a fucus in scorpio this is where we (00:03:55) embraced the lower qualities of self. So (00:03:58) the centaur has merged, has embodied, (00:04:01) has you know become one with his uh (00:04:04) lower self or his human self and that's (00:04:07) what the centaur represents and that's (00:04:08) the freedom of the horse of the open (00:04:10) range once we have that (00:04:12) transformation. So very adventurous, (00:04:15) very philosophical and very open-minded. (00:04:18) You know this is these are all qualities (00:04:19) of Sagittarius. So um that's sag in a (00:04:22) nutshell. It's mutable. It's another (00:04:24) element of this. It's all about change. (00:04:26) So when we do approach life in this (00:04:28) perspective, uh we do have more (00:04:30) malleability. We're more adaptive and (00:04:32) the other areas of our life are that (00:04:34) much more adaptive. Also, it is ruled by (00:04:36) Jupiter.
