so (00:00:06) last time we talked about the 10th house (00:00:08) which was everything to do with our (00:00:11) productiveness our career our Legacy (00:00:13) essentially the things in our life path (00:00:15) that we're doing for uh you know work or (00:00:18) for something that we feel like is going (00:00:19) to be long lasting and so now the (00:00:21) progression from the 10th to the 11th is (00:00:24) essentially taking this productive (00:00:26) energy or our work or career whatever (00:00:28) and now seeing where we can give where (00:00:30) can we share and contribute to things (00:00:32) larger than self so that's essentially (00:00:35) what the 11th is is any area of life (00:00:38) that has to do with things larger than (00:00:39) self things that have to do with groups (00:00:42) Community U organizations networks (00:00:45) friends can be seen from the 11th uh but (00:00:48) also you know our Visions because (00:00:51) essentially the 11th house is where we (00:00:52) can start to um see what the future (00:00:55) holds for what the world needs or where (00:00:57) the world is going you know it's very (00:00:59) other oriented but other future oriented (00:01:02) in that sense so you can see things like (00:01:05) um you know your Visions for the future (00:01:07) but specifically involving the more (00:01:09) Progressive energies of life so things (00:01:12) like you know uh humanitarianism can be (00:01:15) seen from the 11th technology can be (00:01:17) seen from the 11th especially anything (00:01:19) that again you consider Progressive in (00:01:21) nature all right so that's essentially (00:01:23) what the 11th is you can see this um in (00:01:25) the location of this house for one it's (00:01:27) on the top left quadrant so the top of (00:01:30) the chart is about extrinsic values (00:01:32) again the outwardly focused what can I (00:01:35) give what can I contribute to is the top (00:01:37) of the chart um the left of the chart is (00:01:39) personal so these are our own personal (00:01:42) uh values or our own personal you know (00:01:45) interests or things that we want to (00:01:47) create or focus on and put energy into (00:01:50) um you can also see it from the axes (00:01:52) it's on the 11th and the fifth house (00:01:54) axes if if you recall from the last uh (00:01:56) fifth House video we talked about uh the (00:01:58) fifth house being everything personal (00:02:01) everything that is about our own (00:02:02) personal interests our own personal (00:02:03) focuses and passions in life so (00:02:06) essentially the 11th completely opposite (00:02:09) that fifth is about how we can take our (00:02:11) own interests and give and share and (00:02:14) really see that they're one and the same (00:02:15) that the things we're actually very (00:02:17) passionate about or interested in is (00:02:19) what the group needs or is what the (00:02:21) world needs or what have you and if you (00:02:23) do find that there's a lot of energy in (00:02:25) the 11th uh you can balance it with the (00:02:27) fifth so if there's a lot of other (00:02:29) oriented energy balancing it with what (00:02:31) are your passions what are your (00:02:32) interests are and that will help you (00:02:35) know balance out the saxis um you can (00:02:37) also see it too by the fact that it's an (00:02:39) air housee so it's associated with (00:02:41) Aquarius in terms of its sign uh you can (00:02:43) see Saturn is associated with it too (00:02:46) because traditionally Saturn was (00:02:47) associated with the 11th house or with (00:02:49) Aquarius rather and Uranus modernly okay (00:02:52) so those are the three energies (00:02:54) specifically air when it has to do with (00:02:56) you know ideas and thinking and even (00:02:58) relationships is another air sort of (00:03:00) quality but again it's more of the (00:03:02) relationships within the group or the (00:03:04) network now it's also a suent house so (00:03:07) it's a house of desire right all the (00:03:09) suent houses are of what we want and so (00:03:12) here it's wanting to be a part of (00:03:14) something larger or it's wanting to give (00:03:16) you know it's a big part of this house (00:03:19) also so that's it in terms of its (00:03:21) location and area what you want to do is (00:03:23) you want to look to see if you have any (00:03:24) planets in that 11th house the more (00:03:26) planets the more prominent these areas (00:03:28) of life will be for you um the plets are (00:03:30) essentially showing the experiences that (00:03:33) you have in this area so for example if (00:03:35) your Sun's in the 11th the way you gain (00:03:37) energy and what you're focused on is (00:03:39) Progressive things or new things or your (00:03:41) groups or friends and things like that (00:03:43) in those areas you essentially gain (00:03:45) Prana through um that would be an (00:03:47) example of a planet but you also want to (00:03:49) see what the sign uh placement is of (00:03:52) that 11th because we don't always have (00:03:54) planet and um the signs will always give (00:03:57) you more information so the signs are (00:03:59) essentially showing you the (00:04:00) characteristics that come through this (00:04:02) area of life and the most important sign (00:04:05) is the 11th house cusp so the sign (00:04:07) that's right at the beginning of that (00:04:08) 11th house whatever that sign is it'll (00:04:11) show you the quality so for example um (00:04:13) let's use an example of Libra let's say (00:04:16) that the individual here in the way in (00:04:18) which they uh organize groups or they're (00:04:20) part of these you know you know group (00:04:23) oriented things would be in a way of (00:04:24) having balance having Justice having (00:04:27) mutual respect Mutual understanding and (00:04:29) Harmony and that would naturally be (00:04:30) their approach but you'd also see those (00:04:32) qualities come through those groups and (00:04:35) you know 11th house things also so once (00:04:37) you've done those two things you've (00:04:39) you've done a pretty good service to the (00:04:41) chart in terms of its interpretation but (00:04:44) to get even more specific information (00:04:45) you can look at the 11th house ruler and (00:04:49) so in this particular example it would (00:04:50) be Venus because Venus rules Libra there (00:04:52) will be a PDF down below if you want to (00:04:54) check to see what the rulers are but uh (00:04:56) the ruler's house and sign placements (00:04:58) will give you a good detailed pict (00:05:00) picture as well as the significator of (00:05:02) the 11th house so since we are talking (00:05:04) about both modern uh Uranus and (00:05:07) traditional Saturn you want to see where (00:05:09) both Saturn and Uranus is placed in your (00:05:12) chart and that'll give you a good idea (00:05:13) of uh more information about the groups (00:05:16) or you know friends networks and all (00:05:18) these other 11th house things all right (00:05:19) so that's the 11th house in a nutshell (00:05:21) if you
