So today we're going to talk (00:00:04) about the fundamental meaning of the (00:00:05) seventh house and if you have any (00:00:07) planets there can be very significant (00:00:09) and also of course whatever signs make (00:00:11) up that seventh house. We'll show you (00:00:13) the uh qualities that come through this (00:00:15) area of life. So the seventh house (00:00:18) essentially coming out from the sixth is (00:00:19) that last time we talked about the sixth (00:00:21) house of self-improvement. And so now we (00:00:24) come from once we are refined once we've (00:00:26) improved ourselves on that physical (00:00:28) level with self which is the bottom half (00:00:30) of the chart. Now for the first time we (00:00:32) come up to the top half of the chart top (00:00:34) hemisphere which is about our exttrinsic (00:00:37) values. Right? So this is a very big (00:00:40) emphasis of the seventh house and that (00:00:42) it's very much about relationships. It's (00:00:44) very much about one-on-one connections. (00:00:46) Uh it's about karma. It's about (00:00:48) balancing karma. doing the right thing, (00:00:50) the just thing and having balance in our (00:00:53) life in general. So, anything that has (00:00:55) to do with balance uh with relationships (00:00:58) such as even business relationships, (00:01:00) romantic relationships, contracts, legal (00:01:03) matters, all these things that involve (00:01:04) two parties and balance and mutual (00:01:07) respect uh can be seen from the seventh (00:01:09) house and that's basically what it (00:01:11) represents. Now, we're back to an (00:01:13) angular house. So this is a house where (00:01:15) once it's um you know put energy into it (00:01:18) and it's nice and solid the other areas (00:01:20) of her life are nice and solid. The (00:01:22) other uh angular houses we talked about (00:01:24) where the first house which is once you (00:01:26) have the uh strength of self and (00:01:29) awareness of what you know is important (00:01:30) to you in life then that's a strong (00:01:32) foundation and then the fourth house is (00:01:34) when things are good on your home and (00:01:35) family level then things you know then (00:01:38) the other areas are that much stronger (00:01:39) here. When things are good with your (00:01:40) relationships, when things are good with (00:01:43) balance and doing the right thing and (00:01:45) morality in your life, then the other (00:01:47) areas are that much stronger. So, it's (00:01:49) an angular house in that regards. Um, (00:01:51) it's also the top right quadrant. So, (00:01:54) again, top is that extrinsic uh outward, (00:01:57) you know, ideal outward sort of (00:02:00) awareness, but personal, I mean, uh, (00:02:02) interpersonal, which is the right side. (00:02:04) So again involving usually two parties (00:02:07) or two things needing some sort of (00:02:09) balance or you know mutuality there. Now (00:02:12) it's an air house associated with Venus (00:02:15) and also Libra. So this is going to be (00:02:18) um you know big quality of it also is (00:02:20) very much about ideas again (00:02:21) relationships is you know there's that (00:02:24) social quality about it uh which is all (00:02:26) about air there. Now to balance the (00:02:29) seventh house you want to balance it (00:02:30) with the first because again we're (00:02:32) talking about the axes here. So opposite (00:02:34) the seventh is the first the first. So (00:02:36) if there's a lot of energy in the (00:02:38) seventh then um you know in the chart (00:02:40) such as planets and things like that or (00:02:43) depending on how your seventh house (00:02:44) ruler is placed a lot of that energy uh (00:02:47) can be balanced by bringing attention to (00:02:50) your first house which is again the (00:02:52) house of self and our own personal (00:02:54) drives because it's not you know if (00:02:55) there's too much emphasis on other then (00:02:58) we lose sight there's an imbalance in (00:03:00) order to uh create that balance we have (00:03:02) to have a strong attention on self right (00:03:05) which is about what we want, our own (00:03:07) drives, our goals in life and a strong (00:03:09) sense of who we are. Once we have that, (00:03:11) our relationships and all seventh house (00:03:13) things sort of come back into balance (00:03:16) with that. So that's the seventh house (00:03:18) in a nutshell. Very simple. U you know I (00:03:21) always like to think of the scales (00:03:23) especially in terms of Libra with the (00:03:24) seventh house all about that mutuality (00:03:26) there business dealings you know (00:03:29) relationships spouse all these things (00:03:31) can be seen from the seventh and u if (00:03:34) you want more information on that check (00:03:35) to see if you have any planets in that (00:03:37) seventh house that'll show you the (00:03:39) experiences in your life associated with (00:03:41) this area and um also the signs. (00:03:44) Everyone has at least one sign and the (00:03:45) seventh house cusp which is also known (00:03:47) as your descendant uh is very important (00:03:50) to this area. So whatever qualities th (00:03:52) those are for example if it's Leo uh the (00:03:54) Leo qualities of self-expression of (00:03:56) creativity of playfulness will likely be (00:03:59) a big factor in terms of how you (00:04:01) interrelate and your relationships in (00:04:03) general. Once you've done that planets (00:04:04) and the signs then you want to look at (00:04:06) the ruler of that seventh house. So in (00:04:08) this example, it would be the sun (00:04:10) because the sun rules Leo. And then you also (00:04:21) want to look at where Venus is placed, (00:04:23) you know, because she's a significator (00:04:24) of that seventh house.
