level (00:00:06) and up to this point we've talked about (00:00:07) the first and second house which were (00:00:09) the beginning of the journey the first (00:00:10) house is when we become aware of self (00:00:12) and then the second house is we become (00:00:14) aware of our values and now the third (00:00:16) house is we become aware of learning we (00:00:19) become aware of the importance of (00:00:20) learning and of also the importance of (00:00:22) others you know this is the first of the (00:00:23) air houses which is our inter (00:00:25) relationships so it's a very social (00:00:28) house it's a very mental house and a (00:00:30) communic ative house and as you know the (00:00:32) areas of life are what's seen by the (00:00:34) house placement so if you want to get (00:00:36) more information on um any area of Life (00:00:39) associated with thinking communicating (00:00:42) socializing you can look at the third (00:00:44) house so this could be things like books (00:00:45) for someone it can be how they think how (00:00:48) they communicate their communication (00:00:50) Styles you can also see siblings and (00:00:52) peers from the third house because this (00:00:53) is the house again of socializing but (00:00:55) definitely on the even plane you know (00:00:58) it's like peers we're all on the even (00:01:00) plane plane on the even ke and we're (00:01:02) sharing and exchanging information in (00:01:03) terms of what works okay it's very (00:01:05) practical too since the beginning of the (00:01:07) life Journey where we really start to (00:01:09) understand wow these things can be (00:01:11) applied and we can learn things through (00:01:13) experiences that can be applied later (00:01:15) into the uh future Journey so that's the (00:01:18) third house in a nutshell it's a cadent (00:01:21) house which is the first of the cadent (00:01:23) houses and the Caden houses are (00:01:25) essentially the last types of houses (00:01:27) before we start the cycle over again (00:01:29) because we started the cycle with the (00:01:31) angular house so the first house and now (00:01:33) we're about to start a new cycle with (00:01:34) the fourth house next which is the (00:01:36) angular house so new series of houses (00:01:39) there so Caden houses are about (00:01:41) releasing the old energies because (00:01:42) you're about to change things are about (00:01:44) to change so it's about changing and (00:01:46) adaptability and that's another good way (00:01:47) of looking at the third house it's (00:01:49) anything that is adaptive and when we do (00:01:51) put positive energy into the third house (00:01:53) we are that much more adaptive and (00:01:55) willing to change and go with the flow (00:01:58) so it's a good way of putting energy (00:02:00) into an area so that we are more (00:02:01) adaptive because it does make the other (00:02:03) areas of our life and just our overall (00:02:05) life in general much more healthy in (00:02:08) that regard now it is still the bottom (00:02:11) left quadrant of the natal chart so (00:02:13) again it's still personal just like our (00:02:14) thoughts are personal and it is still (00:02:16) very intrinsic or subjective in nature (00:02:19) because it's at the bottom of the chart (00:02:20) and of course our thoughts and ideas are (00:02:23) subjective in nature so you can see that (00:02:25) there as well and uh it's an air housee (00:02:27) like I was saying it's associated with (00:02:29) Mercury and Gemini so again Synergy and (00:02:32) that's that's a good way of looking at (00:02:33) the third house is synergy you know (00:02:35) because uh the thinking aspect of it is (00:02:37) that our minds are literally synergizing (00:02:39) you know they're communic it's (00:02:40) communicating within like say the left (00:02:42) and right hemispheres so it's about (00:02:44) Synergy internally but it's also about (00:02:46) Synergy externally which is sharing and (00:02:48) even trading you know a lot of it has to (00:02:50) do with the marketplace and exchanging (00:02:52) so if you want to see sales or like you (00:02:54) know marketing or whatever it is you you (00:02:56) know that has to do with exchanging you (00:02:57) can see that in the third house as well (00:03:00) so um putting good energy in there does (00:03:03) create more adaptability and one thing I (00:03:04) want to say too is completely opposite (00:03:07) that third house is the 9th house so if (00:03:09) you feel like you know especially if (00:03:11) there's a node in the third house if (00:03:12) there's a lot of maybe sometimes it (00:03:13) feels like too much energy into the (00:03:15) third house the ninth house can help (00:03:17) balance it out all these opposite axes (00:03:20) can help balance out these energies so (00:03:22) the ninth house is helping us see (00:03:23) everything from the overarching (00:03:25) perspective not so much down into the (00:03:27) daily stuff of the third house very deep (00:03:29) into to the more practical aspects the (00:03:32) ninth house is much more expansive we're (00:03:34) seeing the big picture we're seeing the (00:03:35) overarching view we're seeing what's (00:03:37) possible in life right not so much the (00:03:39) scientific more of maybe the spiritual (00:03:41) or philosophical or theoretical aspects (00:03:44) more energy into that ninth house can (00:03:45) help balance out that third and a (00:03:47) nutshell so um that's pretty much what (00:03:49) the third house is you want to look to (00:03:50) see if there's any planets in that third (00:03:52) house which is going to show you the (00:03:53) experiences associated with those areas (00:03:56) of life you want to look at any signs (00:03:58) that make up that third house uh there (00:04:00) there's always at least one and the most (00:04:01) important will be the third house cusp (00:04:03) so the beginning of that third house (00:04:05) what is that sign and then if you and (00:04:07) and keep in mind too the sign is going (00:04:08) to show you the qualities of that area (00:04:11) of life but if you want to get more (00:04:13) specific with it you can always look at (00:04:14) the ruler of that third house which will (00:04:16) be the ruler of that cusp sign I'll put (00:04:19) a PDF down below for rulerships for (00:04:21) example if someone had cancer on the (00:04:23) cusp of the third house their ruler of (00:04:25) the third would be the moon so you would (00:04:27) go and see where's the moon placed and (00:04:29) the house and sign position of that and (00:04:32) one more thing too you can do also for (00:04:34) more information on this area of live is (00:04:36) look at Mercury where's Mercury placed (00:04:38) because he is the significator of that (00:04:40) third house for everybody what's his (00:04:42) house position and sign position so (00:04:44) first is planets sometimes there's (00:04:45) planets in there sometimes there's not (00:04:47) but you look at that first and then next (00:04:49) will be the sign which will show you the (00:04:51) qualities okay and then after that will (00:04:54) be more specific information through the (00:04:56) rulership and (00:04:58) Mercury so um that's pretty much it sh (00:05:00) third house the house of
