(00:00:05) talked about the 1 through the 7th and (00:00:08) last time we just started to go into the (00:00:10) top half of the chart so now continuing (00:00:13) with the top half of the chart we're (00:00:14) going to talk about uh the eth house a (00:00:16) very important house it's a water house (00:00:19) associated with both Scorpio and a fucus (00:00:21) in astrology as well as Mars (00:00:23) traditionally and perhaps modernly Pluto (00:00:25) and maybe other asteroids as well for (00:00:27) that matter or comets and uh it's all (00:00:30) about transformation the eth house you (00:00:33) know uh it's where we come from (00:00:34) relationships of the seventh right we (00:00:37) become we became aware of other and the (00:00:39) importance of The Duality the balance of (00:00:42) Duality which is that um cooperation and (00:00:45) and balance and Harmony but now we come (00:00:47) up to the idea of maybe there's (00:00:49) something more maybe there's like a (00:00:51) third counterpart you know it's that (00:00:53) Triad kind of energy where we become (00:00:56) aware of the importance of balance which (00:00:59) then leads to transformation or leads to (00:01:02) Redemption leads to sanction you know (00:01:04) healing and feeling that spiritual uh (00:01:08) Liberation in many ways so that's (00:01:10) essentially what the eighth house is (00:01:12) it's all about transformation to some (00:01:14) sort of spiritual Liberation spiritual (00:01:16) connection and Redemption so the key (00:01:20) with this is that the eighth house is (00:01:22) very much about really accepting and (00:01:25) being aware of the human aspects of self (00:01:29) because it's really what we're redeeming (00:01:31) here is really the uh you know very (00:01:33) Earthly very human perhaps even physical (00:01:37) if you will or lower if you will aspects (00:01:39) of The Human Experience or of the self (00:01:42) and so this you know does take a (00:01:44) tremendous amount of um acceptance a (00:01:47) tremendous amount of unconditional (00:01:49) acceptance which uh is all about that (00:01:51) watery energy and in that way though (00:01:53) once we have the acceptance for however (00:01:55) we are or however someone else is right (00:01:58) then there is that transformation as (00:02:00) result so this is the process along the (00:02:03) life Journey but um you know the houses (00:02:05) are about areas of life so essentially (00:02:07) any area of life that has to do with (00:02:09) these things are the eighth house so you (00:02:11) can uh see things deeper relationships (00:02:14) you can see from the eth house you can (00:02:15) see anything that's transformative you (00:02:17) can see anything that's normally hidden (00:02:19) or behind the veil or under the surface (00:02:21) that can be brought into light it's also (00:02:24) about bonds you know because again the (00:02:27) deeper connection from relationships (00:02:29) it's all about bonds but it's it's not (00:02:30) just with one-on-one connections it's (00:02:32) all bonds right so it could be our bond (00:02:34) and even attachments to material things (00:02:36) or physical things in Earth that we're (00:02:38) learning about having that (00:02:42) non-attachment to because it's through (00:02:44) that non-attachment that acceptance that (00:02:46) life changes and there's beginnings and (00:02:48) endings and there's this transformation (00:02:49) process that we find that spiritual (00:02:52) liberation of the eth so you can see (00:02:53) shared resources from the eth you can (00:02:55) see any type of debts or bonds or things (00:02:57) we're attached to in the eth you can see (00:02:59) death itself or our perspective of death (00:03:02) but also our perspective of you know (00:03:04) it's really a twofold process because (00:03:05) where there's endings there's always (00:03:07) Beginnings right so it's our perspective (00:03:09) of the whole beginnings and endings (00:03:11) aspect of life and anything in between (00:03:14) so uh very deep passive you have planets (00:03:16) in this house usually uh that experience (00:03:19) is you know about these areas of life so (00:03:21) for example if someone has their son in (00:03:23) the eth house this is someone that is (00:03:25) just naturally focused and aware of (00:03:28) these uh behind the scenes or behind the (00:03:30) veil aspects of Life esoteric things (00:03:33) occult things can all be seen from the (00:03:35) eighth house and um so you want to look (00:03:37) to see if you have any planets here but (00:03:39) you also want to see what sign is on the (00:03:41) cusp because that'll show you the uh (00:03:43) characteristics and qualities that come (00:03:45) through this area of life and we have at (00:03:47) least one sign but sometimes we'll have (00:03:49) more usually we have more so you want to (00:03:51) see how much each sign takes up so for (00:03:53) example if it's uh Sagittarius the way (00:03:56) in which someone approaches you know (00:03:58) beginnings and endings and transform (00:04:00) transformation is probably in a very (00:04:02) philosophical sense or maybe even a very (00:04:04) optimistic sense uh in that regards so (00:04:07) that's uh the two things you want to (00:04:08) look at planets there if you have any (00:04:10) sometimes there is sometimes there isn't (00:04:11) you you also want to look at signs there (00:04:13) and then to get even more specific you (00:04:15) want to look at the ruler of that Eighth (00:04:18) House in terms of where is he or she (00:04:20) located so in this example Sagittarius (00:04:23) is ruled by Jupiter so you you'll look (00:04:25) to see where Jupiter's placed both in (00:04:27) house and sign position and this will (00:04:29) give you a pretty good detailed picture (00:04:32) then the next thing you can do is look (00:04:33) at the significator of the eth which is (00:04:36) Mars so for everybody so if you want (00:04:38) more information on your Eighth House (00:04:40) look to see where Mars is placed right (00:04:42) both house and sign position uh and also (00:04:45) Pluto if you want to too using the the (00:04:48) modern-day ruler of Pluto and any other (00:04:51) comets maybe like Chiron would be useful (00:04:53) as well so uh that gives you a pretty (00:04:56) good well-rounded picture and pretty (00:04:57) good detail in terms of this area of (00:04:59) Life very important like I said (00:05:01) especially if you have planets in the
