Shabbat shalom everyone. Shabbat shalom.
(00:00:11)
>> Hallelujah.
(00:00:13)
This week we are in B shalak. Um a
(00:00:17)
beautiful epic in the Exodus. We now see
(00:00:21)
the release of the children of Israel by
(00:00:23)
the hand of Pharaoh. So what will we be
(00:00:26)
looking at this week? We're going to
(00:00:28)
look at the deliverance from Egypt and
(00:00:31)
how even the enemy plays a role in our
(00:00:34)
release. It's quite profound um because
(00:00:38)
there's a couple of different aspects to
(00:00:39)
deliverance. And we're going to uh look
(00:00:42)
at this week how even Pharaoh plays a
(00:00:44)
role in the deliverance of the children
(00:00:47)
of Israel. Uh we're going to look at how
(00:00:49)
in all deliverances
(00:00:52)
there is a recompense. There is a a
(00:00:55)
plunder that takes place. Um whenever we
(00:00:58)
are delivered and redeemed, Yah always
(00:01:02)
has a special blessing for his people
(00:01:04)
that have undergone trial and
(00:01:06)
tribulation.
(00:01:08)
Uh so how when we are released, there is
(00:01:10)
a plundering that takes place against
(00:01:13)
our oppressor. How does that relate to
(00:01:15)
us? How does that relate uh with Pharaoh
(00:01:18)
and Egypt? And then finally, we're going
(00:01:20)
to look at the bones of Joseph and its
(00:01:24)
connection to the resurrection of
(00:01:25)
Messiah. So, we're going to see um a
(00:01:29)
resurrection motif all the way in the
(00:01:31)
book of Exodus and that how after all
(00:01:34)
the plagues after the calamities and the
(00:01:38)
destruction of Egypt, um the blood of
(00:01:41)
the lamb and the death of the firstborn,
(00:01:43)
how it climactically leads up to this
(00:01:46)
really small moment in scripture, but
(00:01:49)
it's really profound. And that's the
(00:01:52)
um the bones of Joseph that are
(00:01:55)
resurrected so to speak out of the tomb.
(00:01:58)
They are Joseph is risen from the tomb.
(00:02:01)
The essence of Joseph is risen. So we're
(00:02:04)
going to see how that relates to the
(00:02:05)
resurrection of Christ.
(00:02:08)
So Tommy um if you would please tell us
(00:02:11)
Bashak in the Hebrew when you're ready.
(00:02:13)
>> Yeah, it's bishalak as you just said
(00:02:15)
Joe. Um, and the title bishalak comes
(00:02:18)
from the the root word shalak. Um, for
(00:02:23)
those familiar with the the Torah cycle,
(00:02:26)
we get this in um
(00:02:28)
para shalaka for example in numbers
(00:02:32)
later on and earlier on in the cycle v
(00:02:36)
shellac in in Genesis. It's a frequent
(00:02:39)
word in scripture. Um this word shellac
(00:02:42)
means to bid farewell, to let go, to put
(00:02:46)
forth, stretch out, to direct, to send,
(00:02:49)
to urgently send.
(00:02:51)
>> Mhm.
(00:02:53)
>> Um
(00:02:54)
it's usually related to a sense of
(00:02:56)
urgency, something there's a mission
(00:02:58)
involved. You know, there's a purpose
(00:03:00)
involved in the sending
(00:03:02)
quite frequently in scripture. And here
(00:03:04)
in par bishak
(00:03:07)
it refers to when pharaoh let the people
(00:03:10)
go with an urgency he drove them out.
(00:03:14)
See um it's b shalak begins with the
(00:03:17)
letter bait and usually it's it means
(00:03:19)
in. It's a preposition. It usually means
(00:03:21)
in. Um but here it's it's when.
(00:03:26)
As I say it's a preposition and in
(00:03:27)
context here it means when. Um,
(00:03:31)
so it's in his sending out or when he
(00:03:36)
sent out or when he sent,
(00:03:38)
>> thank you,
(00:03:39)
>> etc. But in reality, it's God doing the
(00:03:42)
sending through Pharaoh.
(00:03:44)
>> Lovely.
(00:03:46)
>> Um, and the people are now going to
(00:03:49)
become a nation. They're being prepared
(00:03:51)
to be become a nation. And ultimately,
(00:03:54)
God is preparing his bride. This is
(00:03:57)
what's happening. That's the bigger
(00:03:58)
picture.
(00:04:00)
And Shalak our the father also sent
(00:04:03)
Shalak his son to save the world.
(00:04:07)
And his son sends us to
(00:04:10)
to save the world
(00:04:13)
to to be a light in the darkness in
(00:04:16)
effect to go and fetch the bride.
(00:04:20)
And from that same root word shalac we
(00:04:22)
have shalak which is an apostle or a
(00:04:25)
sentent one. So we see the the relation
(00:04:28)
there.
(00:04:30)
The first Shalia that we see in the
(00:04:33)
Bible is the servant in Genesis 24 who
(00:04:36)
was sent by Abraham to find a wife for
(00:04:39)
Isaac.
(00:04:40)
So it's all about fetching the bride.
(00:04:44)
Yeah. That's Bashak.
(00:04:46)
>> Thank you, brother.
(00:04:47)
>> When he sent Hallelujah. Okay. So we're
(00:04:50)
going to open up to Exodus 13 and our
(00:04:53)
par begins actually in verse 17. It's
(00:04:57)
just a small segment of scripture this
(00:04:59)
that we're going to be looking at this
(00:05:00)
week. Uh but it's really profound and
(00:05:02)
there is a powerful gospel message
(00:05:04)
inside of it. And we're going to look at
(00:05:06)
things that are applicable for us and
(00:05:08)
see ourselves in this story. So Tom, if
(00:05:11)
you would please, Exodus 13 from verse
(00:05:14)
17. Bashak. Then it came to pass when
(00:05:16)
Pharaoh had let the people go that God
(00:05:19)
didn't lead them by way of the land of
(00:05:20)
the Philistines, although that was near.
(00:05:22)
For God said, "Lest perhaps the people
(00:05:25)
change their minds when they see war and
(00:05:28)
return to Egypt." So God led the people
(00:05:30)
around by way of the wilderness of the
(00:05:32)
Red Sea. And the children of Israel went
(00:05:34)
up in orderly ranks out of the land of
(00:05:37)
Egypt. And Moses took the bones of
(00:05:39)
Joseph with him. For he had placed the
(00:05:41)
children of Israel under solemn oath,
(00:05:43)
saying, "God will surely visit you, and
(00:05:46)
you shall carry up my bones from here
(00:05:48)
with you." So they took their journey
(00:05:50)
from Sukot and camped in Eitham at the
(00:05:54)
edge of the wilderness.
(00:05:56)
And the Lord went before them by day in
(00:05:59)
a pillar of cloud to lead the way and by
(00:06:01)
night in a pillar of fire to give them
(00:06:03)
light so as to go by day and night. He
(00:06:07)
didn't take away the pillar of cloud by
(00:06:09)
day or the pillar of fire by night from
(00:06:12)
before the people. Bless you, bro. I
(00:06:15)
just love that verse 21 there. It says,
(00:06:18)
"And the Lord went with them to lead the
(00:06:20)
way. And the Lord went with them by day
(00:06:24)
and night to give them light." It's very
(00:06:27)
powerful.
(00:06:29)
Praise the Lord that he leads us in the
(00:06:30)
way. Praise the Lord that he gives us
(00:06:32)
light.
(00:06:34)
Okay, let's get into this. I want to
(00:06:36)
look at the forced release. Um because
(00:06:39)
there's a slight misconception there
(00:06:41)
when we recognize the wording of
(00:06:43)
Bashalak. Pharaoh was not just waving
(00:06:46)
the white flag of surrender and he just
(00:06:49)
conceded and he just lets the people go.
(00:06:52)
They're actually sent away by shalak.
(00:06:55)
Exodus 13:17. Then it came to pass when
(00:06:58)
Pharaoh had let the people go. But the
(00:07:00)
Hebrew there is b shalak and as you
(00:07:03)
brought there Tom that root words is
(00:07:05)
shalia from where we get sent sent with
(00:07:08)
an intent or an objective sent away. So,
(00:07:11)
this is more of a forced release and
(00:07:14)
we're going to unpack why um we need to
(00:07:17)
see that the children of Israel were not
(00:07:19)
just let go, they were forced out. They
(00:07:22)
were forced out. This is going to be
(00:07:23)
very powerful for us to understand
(00:07:25)
especially what's going to take place in
(00:07:27)
the last days. So, it's more akin to
(00:07:29)
when he sent them with audit
(00:07:33)
bash. Um and this has connotations with
(00:07:37)
being sent away by a mandate. Uh this
(00:07:40)
was not just
(00:07:43)
uh Pharaoh losing his grip. It was more
(00:07:47)
of a stronger hand forcing his hand to
(00:07:50)
do something, being sent away with
(00:07:51)
intent. So Pharaoh did not relax his
(00:07:54)
hand and concede. He was judged and he
(00:07:57)
sends the children of Israel away with a
(00:07:59)
strong hand. So this echoes covenantal
(00:08:02)
deliverance and how redemption comes
(00:08:05)
through judgment, not negotiation.
(00:08:08)
There actually no negotiation involved
(00:08:10)
in deliverance. We've all been delivered
(00:08:12)
from Hassetan and there is no
(00:08:15)
negotiation involved with the blood of
(00:08:17)
the lamb. Amen. There's just no
(00:08:19)
negotiation involved. So let's see where
(00:08:21)
else we see this. Exodus 6:1. Now you
(00:08:24)
shall see what I shall do to Pharaoh.
(00:08:26)
For with a strong hand he will let them
(00:08:28)
go and with a strong hand he will drive
(00:08:31)
them out of his land. So Pharaoh here,
(00:08:35)
he's not just permitting the children of
(00:08:37)
Israel to leave. He's reaching a point
(00:08:39)
where Israel's presence becomes
(00:08:41)
unbearable.
(00:08:42)
>> It's becoming unbearable. And many
(00:08:46)
scholars have translated this verse,
(00:08:49)
well, it's the Lord's hand, and it's the
(00:08:52)
Lord's strong hand that causes him to
(00:08:54)
drive them out. But we see the lower
(00:08:57)
case here representing the Pharaoh. And
(00:08:59)
I think the text is ambiguous for a
(00:09:00)
reason. But what Tommy said is perfect
(00:09:03)
because it is the sovereignity of Yah.
(00:09:05)
It is the providence of the most high.
(00:09:07)
And nothing happens on earth without his
(00:09:09)
yes and amen. So even though Pharaoh is
(00:09:11)
sending them away, it's the Lord. It's
(00:09:13)
the Lord bidden behind him. But what can
(00:09:16)
we glean from this? Pharaoh who is a
(00:09:19)
shadow of Satan, the god of this world.
(00:09:22)
Um and the god of this world, he follows
(00:09:25)
the same pattern with spiritfilled
(00:09:26)
believers. When we become a living
(00:09:30)
testimony of Yhovah's superiority
(00:09:34)
and we serve a higher king, the God of
(00:09:37)
this world loses jurisdiction. Not only
(00:09:39)
that, he loses his grip. But not only
(00:09:43)
will he begin to not tolerate you. He
(00:09:45)
He'll want to send you away out of his
(00:09:47)
vicinity and out of his land. Not only
(00:09:49)
will the enemy try and avoid you, he
(00:09:52)
won't even want you in his presence.
(00:09:53)
Because when we are spiritfilled
(00:09:55)
believers full of the light of the most
(00:09:56)
high, we emulate that light to the
(00:09:58)
world. And I've said this before, I'll
(00:10:00)
say it again. The greatest form of
(00:10:03)
deliverance that I have ever experienced
(00:10:05)
is walking in Yah's covenant. It's
(00:10:08)
walking in Yhovah's superiority. The
(00:10:10)
enemy wants nothing to do with a
(00:10:12)
spiritfilled believer who's brimming
(00:10:14)
over. The darkness cannot destroy the
(00:10:16)
light. The darkness cannot destroy the
(00:10:19)
light. It can only attempt to evict it.
(00:10:21)
It can only attempt to evict it. John
(00:10:24)
1:45, "In him was life and the life was
(00:10:27)
the light of men and that light shines
(00:10:30)
in the darkness and the darkness cannot
(00:10:32)
comprehend it." Wow, that's amazing.
(00:10:35)
John's explaining in here that the light
(00:10:37)
actually dumbfounds the darkness. He
(00:10:39)
goes on to say in chapter 3, this is the
(00:10:41)
condemnation that the light has come
(00:10:43)
into the world and men love the darkness
(00:10:46)
rather than the light because their
(00:10:48)
deeds were evil. Everyone practicing
(00:10:50)
evil hates the light and does not come
(00:10:53)
to the light. Least their deed should be
(00:10:55)
exposed.
(00:10:58)
So look what it says here. Everyone
(00:11:01)
practicing evil hates the light. They do
(00:11:03)
not come to the light, least their deed
(00:11:05)
should be exposed. So it's it's really
(00:11:08)
important for us to actually be in the
(00:11:10)
light, isn't it? It's to be the light.
(00:11:12)
>> So look, I'm going to submit to you. We
(00:11:15)
can be so filled full of God's light
(00:11:18)
that the darkness just cannot tolerate
(00:11:20)
it. And you'll see it. There's people
(00:11:22)
who are filled with light. They walk in
(00:11:24)
a room in the world and every little
(00:11:28)
dark entity in there just shrivels away.
(00:11:30)
You know
(00:11:32)
like like that. I walk in somewhere and
(00:11:35)
everyone's like
(00:11:41)
never seen light like it in the life.
(00:11:44)
Praise the Lord. When we're filled with
(00:11:45)
light, you'll see it. You'll go into a
(00:11:47)
dark place, a dark vicinity. And because
(00:11:49)
you're an ambassador of the light, the
(00:11:51)
darkness just shrinks and dissolves
(00:11:54)
so we can be full of light. And and this
(00:11:56)
this here in in the deliverance of
(00:11:58)
Exodus, Pharaoh just doesn't want them
(00:12:00)
in the sight. Be gone. Bashak so we can
(00:12:03)
be filled full of God's light, walking
(00:12:04)
in Jehovah's superiority.
(00:12:07)
So I'm going to say that deliverance can
(00:12:10)
begin when compatibility ends. What do I
(00:12:14)
mean by that? So when we become
(00:12:15)
uncompatible with sin and uncompatible
(00:12:18)
with idols and we become uncompatible
(00:12:21)
with this world and we serve a higher
(00:12:23)
king and a higher God, when we become
(00:12:25)
uncompatible with the things of this
(00:12:27)
world, this world won't want to be in
(00:12:29)
us. The darkness will not want to hold
(00:12:31)
on to you. It will not want to even
(00:12:33)
attempt to come near you. So deliverance
(00:12:35)
can begin with in with compatib when
(00:12:37)
compatibility ends. This is the
(00:12:40)
importance of separation. This is why
(00:12:42)
Yah separates us. Not only does he say,
(00:12:45)
"I will rescue you." He says, "I will
(00:12:47)
deliver you, take you to be my people,
(00:12:49)
and separate you and make a
(00:12:51)
distinction." He makes a distinction in
(00:12:53)
the land of Egypt.
(00:12:55)
So
(00:12:57)
on the screen
(00:12:59)
is an image and artist impression of
(00:13:01)
when we are filled full of that light,
(00:13:03)
the darkness cannot comprehend it. We
(00:13:06)
are an enigma when we walk around in the
(00:13:08)
light. This means it cannot function
(00:13:10)
around you. It cannot understand. It
(00:13:12)
cannot com it can't be compatible with
(00:13:16)
you. It cannot comprehend the light. So
(00:13:18)
this is a great tactic for us that we
(00:13:20)
can just be filled full of Yah's spirit.
(00:13:23)
We can be filled full of the Lord,
(00:13:25)
filled full of his presence and the
(00:13:28)
darkness cannot comprehend it. The
(00:13:30)
darkness cannot comprehend it. We can
(00:13:33)
become bulletproof to the enemy when we
(00:13:35)
are spiritfilled believers. We need to
(00:13:37)
be fil full of light. The scripture
(00:13:40)
says, doesn't it, the lamp of the body
(00:13:43)
is the eye.
(00:13:45)
If therefore your eye is good, your
(00:13:47)
whole body will be full of light. But if
(00:13:50)
your eye is bad, your whole body will be
(00:13:53)
full of darkness. So there's a there's
(00:13:55)
it says here that our eye can be full of
(00:13:59)
light and if our eye is full of light,
(00:14:01)
our whole body will be full of light.
(00:14:03)
But if it's dark, it'll be full of
(00:14:05)
darkness. Are we beginning to see
(00:14:08)
that we can be filful of the light and
(00:14:10)
the darkness cannot comprehend it. This
(00:14:13)
is why it's important. It's paramount
(00:14:16)
because Yeshua is the light. He is the
(00:14:19)
light and the scripture calls the Torah
(00:14:23)
a light. Many times right throughout the
(00:14:25)
scripture, the Torah is indicative of a
(00:14:27)
light. So if we're filled full of that
(00:14:29)
light, the darkness cannot comprehend
(00:14:31)
it, beloved. So much so that the forces
(00:14:35)
of this world just don't want you in the
(00:14:37)
sight. They don't want you. There's
(00:14:39)
nothing the enemy hates worse than a
(00:14:41)
spiritfilled believer full
(00:14:44)
briming over with the ruach. They're
(00:14:46)
thinking, "Nah,
(00:14:49)
nah. Nah, just hit that one. Let's just
(00:14:50)
crack on over there. Let's just crack on
(00:14:53)
over there."
(00:14:55)
You got something to add?
(00:14:58)
Is light is the life of men? I've I've
(00:15:00)
I've had people saying to me and you
(00:15:01)
know the God feeling people saying
(00:15:03)
something like well I went for this job
(00:15:06)
interview and I just felt the darkness
(00:15:07)
in the room that spirit wasn't right and
(00:15:10)
I said but you've got Yeshua within you
(00:15:13)
shouldn't be thinking oh it's a bit dark
(00:15:14)
in here they should be thinking wa
(00:15:16)
there's light coming in the other way
(00:15:18)
around yeah
(00:15:19)
>> no we have Yeshua the light of the world
(00:15:22)
within us we're not here to shrink with
(00:15:25)
anything around us it's the other way
(00:15:27)
round
(00:15:29)
>> he is he and me than he was in.
(00:15:30)
>> He's conquered the world.
(00:15:33)
>> It's a bit like when um what's his name?
(00:15:36)
He was chained up and all this legion.
(00:15:39)
>> Legion. How many demonic spirits did he
(00:15:41)
have in him and they're all cowering
(00:15:43)
because he is the light of the world.
(00:15:45)
That's the way round it is.
(00:15:47)
>> That's the way round, man. That's the
(00:15:48)
formula.
(00:15:49)
>> Yeah.
(00:15:51)
I just love this emphasis on the light
(00:15:53)
cuz back in Genesis we read how God saw
(00:15:56)
that the light was good and that he
(00:15:59)
divided
(00:16:00)
>> the light from the darkness as we know
(00:16:03)
before the sun and the moon was created.
(00:16:05)
>> So this isn't about a physical light.
(00:16:08)
This is more of a supernatural light.
(00:16:09)
He's speaking of dividing. And it it
(00:16:12)
especially when you're coming to this
(00:16:13)
walk, it can be quite difficult because
(00:16:15)
as you're pursuing righteousness and
(00:16:17)
pursuing the truth naturally there is
(00:16:20)
separations that take place in our life,
(00:16:22)
maybe with relationships or things that
(00:16:24)
we do in the world. And division often
(00:16:27)
gets a bad rep in the Bible. Like we but
(00:16:29)
there's actually two forms of division.
(00:16:31)
There's an ungodly division and then
(00:16:34)
there's godly set aartness. And what
(00:16:36)
sets apartness is is to is to come out
(00:16:38)
from the darkness or as even Tommy
(00:16:40)
saying shine so bright that the that the
(00:16:42)
darkness can't stand and that is can't
(00:16:44)
stand before it. So
(00:16:47)
obviously when we have Yeshua in us
(00:16:49)
these things are possible. So I think
(00:16:51)
it's um
(00:16:53)
especially for those who are coming into
(00:16:55)
the faith it's it's important to note
(00:16:57)
that when you do see these divisions
(00:16:59)
take place they're often for your own
(00:17:01)
benefit. And that is God
(00:17:03)
>> separating the light from the darkness
(00:17:05)
just as we see in Genesis. He's doing
(00:17:06)
that within us um to others until until
(00:17:09)
it's their time to be called.
(00:17:11)
>> Bless you, bro. Thank you. Thank you.
(00:17:14)
So, yeah, deliverance can begin when
(00:17:17)
compatibility ends. They weren't
(00:17:19)
compatible with Egypt any longer. And
(00:17:23)
we're not compatible with this world.
(00:17:25)
And when we make ourselves incompatible
(00:17:28)
with sin, lust, whatever,
(00:17:32)
the the darkness is just like, man, the
(00:17:36)
hardware has changed. That software has
(00:17:38)
been upgraded. I am just not compatible
(00:17:39)
with that anymore. So Yeshua said the
(00:17:42)
lamp of the body is the eye and that our
(00:17:45)
eye needs to be good so that our whole
(00:17:47)
body is filled full of light. Okay, I
(00:17:50)
want to unpack this force release a
(00:17:53)
little bit further. Yeshua says this,
(00:17:54)
doesn't he, in the Gospel of Luke, Luke
(00:17:56)
11:21-22.
(00:17:58)
When a strong man fully armed guards his
(00:18:01)
own palace, his goods are in peace. But
(00:18:04)
when a stronger than he comes upon him
(00:18:06)
and overcomes him, he takes away from
(00:18:08)
him all his armor in which he trusted,
(00:18:10)
and he divides his spoils. Now, this is
(00:18:13)
actually Exodus language here. This is
(00:18:16)
the Exodus in gospel form. The stronger
(00:18:19)
than he is, of course, indicative of Yah
(00:18:21)
against Pharaoh. What have we just read?
(00:18:23)
That Pharaoh was that strong man with
(00:18:25)
the strong hand that will drive away
(00:18:26)
with a strong release. And we're reading
(00:18:28)
here now in the gospel that Yeshua is
(00:18:31)
highlighting that the strong man is just
(00:18:33)
like Pharaoh. But this is of course
(00:18:35)
indicative of Satan. Pharaoh was that
(00:18:38)
strong man, wasn't he? Who had his goods
(00:18:40)
in place in his own palace. And what
(00:18:43)
happened? The stronger than he came upon
(00:18:44)
him and overcome him. He overcome him.
(00:18:48)
Who is that stronger than he? That's
(00:18:50)
Yah. that was Yah came against Pharaoh
(00:18:52)
in the book of Exodus Yeshua here comes
(00:18:55)
against the evil one.
(00:18:57)
So we can see um when the stronger than
(00:19:01)
he comes upon him and overcomes him. I
(00:19:04)
really enjoyed that. He said there Tom,
(00:19:06)
there's a there's a higher hand at work.
(00:19:08)
There's a higher hand at work. So I want
(00:19:10)
you to notice the words of the master.
(00:19:12)
The enemy does not decide to release
(00:19:14)
you. He is overpowered into compliance.
(00:19:17)
So the more we draw near to God, the
(00:19:19)
more we draw near to the stronger one
(00:19:21)
than he, the more odds we got of having
(00:19:25)
that real deliverance take place in our
(00:19:27)
lives. Now our oppressor,
(00:19:31)
Hassetan, he's not out to try and
(00:19:35)
surrender. He's going to try and put up
(00:19:38)
that fight. But we read here that the
(00:19:40)
stronger than he comes upon him and
(00:19:42)
overcomes him.
(00:19:45)
Our oppressor Hass has just like Pharaoh
(00:19:50)
in the end will be forced into
(00:19:51)
compliance.
(00:19:53)
So deliverance is a force released by
(00:19:55)
Yah because of a higher authority. He
(00:19:58)
says in Matthew 12, "And then he will
(00:20:01)
plunder his house." So again, what did
(00:20:04)
we read in Exodus? It's Exodus language
(00:20:06)
again. Thus the children of Israel
(00:20:08)
plundered Egypt. For those that know the
(00:20:11)
Torah, they're going to know what Yeshua
(00:20:13)
is going on about here. He's using
(00:20:15)
Exodus language to describe what takes
(00:20:18)
place now here and now today with a
(00:20:21)
spiritual deliverance. Notice here then
(00:20:23)
he will plunder his house. Israel
(00:20:25)
plundered Egypt and had enough wealth to
(00:20:28)
to kickstart their kingdom.
(00:20:31)
When we are delivered, we come away with
(00:20:35)
great spiritual wealth.
(00:20:38)
the the the gold and silver of Egypt is
(00:20:42)
now cast into a testimony. It's now cast
(00:20:45)
into
(00:20:47)
a a spiritual struggle that has now
(00:20:50)
become a living witness. It's now
(00:20:53)
refined you. Whether it be that
(00:20:55)
testimony in a trial, a certain strength
(00:20:58)
that you found from a a suffering or an
(00:21:00)
affliction, the spoils now come from the
(00:21:04)
struggles that we once had. and we come
(00:21:07)
away actually stronger. Do we see that
(00:21:09)
when we are delivered all the things the
(00:21:12)
enemy tried to use for
(00:21:15)
our downfall is flipped around reversed
(00:21:18)
and put on its head and they actually
(00:21:19)
equip us now for ministry. So in the
(00:21:22)
same way Israel became equipped to
(00:21:25)
kickstart their kingdom when we are
(00:21:28)
delivered the enemy has to hand over so
(00:21:31)
much towards us that is now going to be
(00:21:33)
used for the kingdom of God. Whether
(00:21:35)
that be a testimony, whether that be
(00:21:37)
physical scar of a battle uh that we now
(00:21:41)
can lead others a lamp. Yeah, I've been
(00:21:43)
there. Hey, look, it's this way. And we
(00:21:46)
become a living witness to them people.
(00:21:48)
When the enemy is stripped of his claim,
(00:21:52)
all that he wants threw at you becomes
(00:21:54)
the very fuel that drives the engine of
(00:21:57)
your spiritual ministry.
(00:21:59)
So, what do I mean by that? the the
(00:22:02)
prison that you were once in or the
(00:22:04)
chains that the enemy once held you
(00:22:07)
captive with, once you've broken free
(00:22:09)
from that, chances are that will
(00:22:11)
probably become a vital part of your
(00:22:14)
ministry to go and help other people in
(00:22:16)
the past. So, the very thing the enemy
(00:22:18)
tried to use against you becomes used as
(00:22:21)
a spiritual ministry for you to go and
(00:22:23)
then free other people. And it's quite
(00:22:25)
profound. You'll notice people who've
(00:22:27)
had trouble with drugs and alcohol and
(00:22:30)
then they get delivered from that.
(00:22:31)
Chances are they're going to know
(00:22:32)
because they've been there and they know
(00:22:34)
what addiction is like and then they go
(00:22:35)
and free other people or assist in
(00:22:37)
freeing other people who who are also
(00:22:40)
experienced drugs and alcohol. It it
(00:22:42)
gives one strength if you're going
(00:22:44)
through some kind of
(00:22:46)
period of your life and you're thinking
(00:22:48)
this is a bit of a struggle. Why is this
(00:22:49)
happening etc.
(00:22:52)
Like you said, it's usually so you can
(00:22:54)
help someone else further down the line.
(00:22:56)
>> Praise God.
(00:22:57)
>> And if God said to you, look, it's this
(00:22:58)
is going to come upon, this is going to
(00:23:00)
happen, you'd stand forward and say,
(00:23:02)
I'll take it to save them.
(00:23:04)
>> Beautiful.
(00:23:04)
>> You know, the these things happen in
(00:23:06)
life. And it's usually to either save
(00:23:09)
somebody or heal somebody of the same
(00:23:12)
affliction.
(00:23:13)
>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So the enemy
(00:23:15)
that once enslaved you has now made a
(00:23:17)
spectacle of us. It says and he
(00:23:19)
triumphed over them making a spectacle
(00:23:21)
of them.
(00:23:23)
And the Lord, he'll turn our captivity
(00:23:27)
into calling. He turns captivity into
(00:23:30)
calling. There they are in captivity.
(00:23:31)
Bang. There they are called to be the
(00:23:33)
light of the world.
(00:23:36)
>> So yeah, like Pharaoh,
(00:23:39)
the enemy can be then forced to fund the
(00:23:41)
very future. He tried to prevent Isaiah
(00:23:45)
45:3, "Treasures of darkness, and I will
(00:23:49)
give you treasures of darkness and
(00:23:51)
hidden riches of the secret places."
(00:23:54)
Yahw simply just remove his people from
(00:23:56)
darkness. He teaches them how to extract
(00:23:58)
light from that very situation that they
(00:24:00)
are in. And when we come out of a
(00:24:02)
wilderness, we come out equipped, ready
(00:24:05)
to inherit a good land. All the things
(00:24:07)
that we once learned in our captivity
(00:24:09)
becomes the very engine for our calling.
(00:24:15)
Treasures of darkness. Paul puts it like
(00:24:17)
this regarding how tribulation builds
(00:24:19)
character and character then produces
(00:24:22)
perseverance and perseverance then faith
(00:24:24)
which is a bedrock of of of our
(00:24:27)
foundation of of faith. It's faith is
(00:24:30)
the confidence in things hope for. So
(00:24:32)
hope is a manifestation of our faith. He
(00:24:34)
puts it like this. And not only that,
(00:24:37)
but we also glory in tribulations.
(00:24:40)
I mean, who's going to glory in
(00:24:42)
tribulation? Normally people are like,
(00:24:44)
whoa, nah, not me. Paul's saying, no
(00:24:48)
glory and tribulation. Why? Knowing that
(00:24:50)
tribulation produces perseverance, and
(00:24:53)
perseverance, character, and character,
(00:24:55)
hope. Now, hope does not disappoint
(00:24:58)
because the love of God has been poured
(00:24:59)
out in the hearts by the Holy Spirit who
(00:25:02)
was given to us. So we see the uh the
(00:25:05)
chain reaction there that tribulation
(00:25:09)
leads to perseverance and perseverance
(00:25:11)
to character and character to hope.
(00:25:15)
What is hope then?
(00:25:18)
Hope separates God's people from despair
(00:25:21)
long before deliverance even arrives.
(00:25:23)
Hope is beautiful. I don't know where we
(00:25:25)
would be without hope. It's like an
(00:25:27)
assurance package, isn't it? That's what
(00:25:29)
it's like. And it's like you can just
(00:25:31)
pull this assurance package out and go,
(00:25:32)
"Well, God surely said and this is who I
(00:25:35)
believe in. And he who began a good work
(00:25:37)
in me is going to finish this." And and
(00:25:39)
and I get my marching orders off one
(00:25:41)
master chief and the Lord has said this
(00:25:43)
to me. And then hope actually becomes
(00:25:45)
relational.
(00:25:47)
Hope is not something that we have. It's
(00:25:49)
something that we actually do. Hope
(00:25:51)
keeps the soul alive whilst the terrible
(00:25:53)
situation is unresolved. Who's been
(00:25:55)
going through that terrible situation?
(00:25:57)
Thank God that he's g us and distilled
(00:25:58)
in us hope. Well, Paul's telling us here
(00:26:01)
that you you've only got there because
(00:26:04)
you've previously gone through a
(00:26:05)
tribulation. And what the enemy meant
(00:26:07)
for bad, the Lord is going to use for
(00:26:08)
good. It's all been part of the
(00:26:11)
training. It's been part of the
(00:26:12)
training. As I mentioned, Hebrews 11
(00:26:16)
says that faith is the substance of
(00:26:18)
things hoped for.
(00:26:21)
So, when faith is real, hope is
(00:26:23)
inevitable. It's inevitable and it will
(00:26:25)
appear in your life and it's a
(00:26:27)
manifestation of our faith and we are
(00:26:29)
saved by faith through grace.
(00:26:32)
So our mindset needs to be when I come
(00:26:35)
out of this current prison, this current
(00:26:38)
time of tempting and terrible trial, the
(00:26:40)
enemy is going to be blundered, mate.
(00:26:42)
Cuz I'm walking out of it with
(00:26:44)
experience, with a testimony, with ed
(00:26:47)
edification, through trial. Because we
(00:26:49)
learn that suffering and affliction
(00:26:51)
brings forth transformation.
(00:26:53)
And what the enemy meant for for bad,
(00:26:55)
the Lord will use now for good.
(00:26:58)
>> Tribulation begets character. That's
(00:27:00)
what Paul's just said. Tribulation
(00:27:02)
begets character. Character leads forth
(00:27:05)
to hope. So being in Egypt
(00:27:09)
begets spiritual wealth. I told you they
(00:27:12)
plundered Egypt. So what is the silver
(00:27:15)
of Egypt that now we take out? Well,
(00:27:17)
when we were once here, we now come out
(00:27:19)
with a a trial through that testimony.
(00:27:22)
We now begin to develop and grow in
(00:27:25)
relationship with the Lord. and we
(00:27:27)
develop more and more a relationship and
(00:27:30)
more and more character in Yah and we
(00:27:32)
become hopeful vessels of the Lord and
(00:27:35)
then we can take that light into the
(00:27:37)
world. So God has a plan for it but we
(00:27:39)
can see legally that when you are
(00:27:42)
delivered something needs to be given to
(00:27:44)
you. We have to understand and grasp
(00:27:46)
this is the providence and the provision
(00:27:48)
that Yah has for us inside of a trial.
(00:27:51)
It's either of a great deliverance comes
(00:27:53)
recompense. Where do we see this?
(00:27:57)
Job. He's paid back bubble, isn't he?
(00:27:59)
Job 42:10.
(00:28:02)
Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much
(00:28:04)
as he had before. So after all the trial
(00:28:07)
and affliction, Job is restored double.
(00:28:10)
Job doesn't just recover.
(00:28:14)
The enemy's attack literally backfires
(00:28:17)
and he's restored. Not only is he
(00:28:19)
restored, he exceeds the loss that he
(00:28:22)
first had originally. Isn't that
(00:28:24)
incredible? So, if you're going through
(00:28:26)
a trial at this moment in time, fix your
(00:28:30)
eyes on the hope of what's coming
(00:28:32)
because the Lord has a double portion in
(00:28:35)
store for those that love him. It's the
(00:28:37)
truth. It's written in the Torah because
(00:28:39)
the faith has to pay back double.
(00:28:43)
>> That's legal. Exodus 22:7 in the Torah
(00:28:46)
of the Most High, if the thief is found,
(00:28:49)
he shall pay back double. What is Satan
(00:28:53)
called? Satan is that thief that comes
(00:28:55)
to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan is
(00:28:58)
called a thief. He comes to steal the
(00:29:00)
good seed sown in the hearts of men.
(00:29:03)
This is his job. If the thief is found,
(00:29:05)
he shall pay back double. So if you're
(00:29:07)
going through a trial,
(00:29:09)
be ready because recompense must take
(00:29:12)
place in the Torah of the Most High.
(00:29:14)
That's written.
(00:29:16)
Double needs to be paid back. Not just
(00:29:18)
for theft. For any kind of trespass, he
(00:29:22)
shall pay back double to his neighbor.
(00:29:24)
Trespasses must pay back double. So if
(00:29:28)
you feel there's an injustice taking
(00:29:29)
place, wait on the Lord. Wait on the
(00:29:32)
Lord cuz there's a recompense coming.
(00:29:34)
And after time, that blessing that we so
(00:29:37)
desire, it does actually come boxed up.
(00:29:41)
It comes boxed up in a bit of a trial.
(00:29:44)
The Lord always has something good in
(00:29:46)
store for his children. And he wants to
(00:29:49)
produce a perseverance within us. He
(00:29:50)
wants to develop our spiritual character
(00:29:53)
so that we will have hope moving
(00:29:54)
forward. That we will begin to depend
(00:29:56)
upon him. That we will begin to trust in
(00:29:58)
him.
(00:30:01)
Oppression never pays back evenly. It
(00:30:04)
always pays back with interest. So if
(00:30:06)
you feel hard done by in a situation,
(00:30:09)
wait upon the Lord. He is a deliverer.
(00:30:11)
It's his intentionality to deliver us.
(00:30:14)
They came out with a great wealth. We
(00:30:16)
come out with a great spiritual wealth
(00:30:19)
>> upon our deliverance. We can walk in so
(00:30:22)
much provision from what we've inherited
(00:30:24)
from our captivity. Got something to
(00:30:26)
add, bro?
(00:30:28)
Well, I was just thinking as you're
(00:30:29)
speaking. Um, thus
(00:30:32)
the Israelites bonded the Egyptians
(00:30:35)
which is delivered. You know, I'm
(00:30:37)
thinking maybe the articles of silver,
(00:30:40)
gold, and clothing was double what they
(00:30:43)
owed them. I mean all all that the
(00:30:46)
possessions and the phys material wealth
(00:30:48)
they had was off the backs of the the
(00:30:49)
enslavement.
(00:30:50)
>> Yeah.
(00:30:51)
>> So their guilt now is is redeemed
(00:30:54)
through they've restored it double you
(00:30:56)
know so I'm wondering did they get
(00:30:58)
double of like what what was taken off
(00:31:00)
the sweat of their brows? Yeah,
(00:31:01)
probably, mate. I mean, when we get
(00:31:03)
through into the book of Numbers and and
(00:31:05)
we begin to see the treasury and the
(00:31:07)
counts and all the articles of gold and
(00:31:09)
silver and these gems, it's like, wow,
(00:31:12)
how do you think they managed to live in
(00:31:13)
the desert with nothing? But they were
(00:31:15)
one of the wealthiest
(00:31:17)
>> nations at this point, you know, because
(00:31:20)
they literally plundered Egypt, but they
(00:31:22)
were owed for the captivity of 400
(00:31:24)
years, whatever people want to say
(00:31:26)
scholarly.
(00:31:26)
>> But that would also remove the guilt of
(00:31:28)
the Egyptians as well. They paid it
(00:31:29)
back, don't they? fade it back. Yeah,
(00:31:31)
>> you know. Yeah.
(00:31:32)
>> Yeah.
(00:31:33)
>> Delivered.
(00:31:35)
>> Let's see how in the uh the biatitude
(00:31:37)
there is a role reversal of affliction.
(00:31:40)
Matthew 5. And seeing the multitude he
(00:31:43)
went on a mountain and when he was
(00:31:44)
seated his disciples came to him. Then
(00:31:46)
he opened his mouth and taught them
(00:31:48)
saying blessed are the poor in spirit
(00:31:50)
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(00:31:53)
Blessed are those who mourn for they
(00:31:56)
shall be comforted. Blessed are the
(00:31:58)
meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
(00:32:01)
Blessed are those who hunger of theirs
(00:32:02)
for righteousness, for they shall be
(00:32:04)
filled. Blessed are the merciful, for
(00:32:07)
they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the
(00:32:09)
pure in heart, for they shall see God.
(00:32:12)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they
(00:32:14)
shall be called sons of God.
(00:32:17)
Blessed are those who are persecuted for
(00:32:20)
righteousness's sake, for theirs is the
(00:32:22)
kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when
(00:32:25)
they revile you and persecute you and
(00:32:28)
say all manner of evil things against
(00:32:30)
you falsely for my name's sake. Rejoice
(00:32:33)
exceedingly and be glad for great is
(00:32:36)
your reward in heaven. We see it. Bang
(00:32:38)
bang the giving of the Torah part two.
(00:32:42)
Love it. Yeah. So notice carefully here
(00:32:45)
as well how the biatitude and these
(00:32:48)
these are promises uh the promises of of
(00:32:52)
the kingdom and they begin with the
(00:32:54)
kingdom and they end with the kingdom.
(00:32:57)
>> It's kingdom this is kingdom. Everything
(00:32:59)
in between explains how you walk through
(00:33:01)
loss and still exit with an inheritance
(00:33:04)
and a dominion. the poor in spirit, the
(00:33:07)
mourers, the hungry, the thirsty, the
(00:33:09)
persecuted, the all restoratively
(00:33:12)
rewarded by Yah
(00:33:14)
in his kingdom.
(00:33:17)
Do we see it? So we must understand then
(00:33:21)
our persecution, our trial, our
(00:33:23)
suffering or our affliction never
(00:33:26)
disqualifies inherit inheritance. It
(00:33:29)
only ever confirms it. This is why Paul
(00:33:32)
says, "Yeah, I'll go around boasting in
(00:33:34)
me affliction." I'm like, "Oh my days."
(00:33:36)
Is is he is he I'm reading this going,
(00:33:38)
"Has he lost the plot?" He's like, "I'm
(00:33:40)
boasting in trial and stri twice
(00:33:42)
shipwrecked." And I'm like,
(00:33:45)
he's boasting in that cuz he understood.
(00:33:48)
He understands this. It's what the Lord
(00:33:50)
has in store for them that love him. So
(00:33:52)
the beatitudes are not passive comfort
(00:33:54)
statements. I used to read that and be
(00:33:56)
like, "Oh, isn't that nice?" They're not
(00:33:59)
passive comfort statements. The
(00:34:01)
covenantal reversals for children of
(00:34:04)
God, their legal Torah obligations,
(00:34:08)
those who appear to lose are actually a
(00:34:11)
curing divine
(00:34:14)
restitution. Look at Yeshua. He's on the
(00:34:17)
cross there. Looks like he's losing.
(00:34:19)
There he is next minute, the King of
(00:34:21)
Kings and the Lord of Lords in a in a
(00:34:22)
glorified transformed body. Wow. Do we
(00:34:25)
see it?
(00:34:28)
Revelations 12:11. And they overcame
(00:34:30)
him, Hassetan, by the blood of the lamb
(00:34:33)
and by the word of their testimony.
(00:34:35)
Okay, so I've got a question. If the
(00:34:37)
testimony becomes a weapon in the last
(00:34:39)
days against the evil one of how we
(00:34:41)
overcome Satan, how are you going to
(00:34:44)
overcome Satan if you haven't got a
(00:34:45)
testimony? Because the two counterparts
(00:34:48)
of the blood of the lamb and the word
(00:34:49)
your testimony. So you're going to need
(00:34:51)
a testimony
(00:34:53)
to overcome the evil one. How are you
(00:34:55)
going to have a testimony if you'd never
(00:34:57)
been in Egypt and been delivered and
(00:34:59)
never had an encounter with the living
(00:35:01)
God? Testimony has the word test in it.
(00:35:05)
It's a testimony.
(00:35:08)
How are you going to have a testimony if
(00:35:09)
you don't pass the test? You see, there
(00:35:11)
is a testimony that the Lord wants to
(00:35:13)
give all of us as a weapon to overcome
(00:35:15)
the evil one. But to have that
(00:35:17)
testimony, well, we got to walk through
(00:35:19)
that wilderness. We got to come out and
(00:35:21)
we got to see the Lord's hand at work.
(00:35:24)
We need to be a living testimony to what
(00:35:26)
he has done in our lives. Amen.
(00:35:29)
>> Amen.
(00:35:31)
So we need that testimony. Yeah. We need
(00:35:33)
that testimony. And this is the
(00:35:35)
testimony of how good God is. And this
(00:35:37)
is what I believe the spoils are that
(00:35:39)
are divided. This is how we plunder the
(00:35:42)
enemy now cuz we walk away redeemed with
(00:35:44)
the blood of the lamb and the word of a
(00:35:46)
testimony. Powerful.
(00:35:50)
So keep the faith, beloved. Yeshua has
(00:35:53)
got this one under full control. Full
(00:35:56)
control. Hasan is just an angel. He's a
(00:36:00)
created thing. The Lord's got this under
(00:36:02)
full control. Amen.
(00:36:06)
And when Yeshua spoke them words about
(00:36:08)
the one stronger than he who comes and
(00:36:10)
overpowers him. He divides the spoil. He
(00:36:13)
plumbers Hassatan. You've now become the
(00:36:17)
Lord's property.
(00:36:19)
And no one's taken the Lord's property
(00:36:21)
off him, mates. He even says that
(00:36:22)
they're in my hand and no one will take
(00:36:25)
them from me. I love that. Praise the
(00:36:28)
Lord. Praise the Lord. You then begin to
(00:36:30)
understand that the second coming of
(00:36:31)
Christ is not just about bringing
(00:36:33)
justice on the earth. As Tommy said,
(00:36:35)
he's coming back for what's rightfully
(00:36:37)
his. He's coming back for his own
(00:36:39)
possession.
(00:36:40)
>> I love it.
(00:36:42)
Okay, we're going to move on now and um
(00:36:46)
we're going to actually look now at one
(00:36:47)
of the the clearest pictures in the
(00:36:50)
Torah of the resurrection, I believe.
(00:36:52)
Before we examine Joseph and the bones
(00:36:55)
of Joseph being risen from the tomb,
(00:36:58)
let's just refresh on who Joseph
(00:37:00)
actually was. He's the beloved son. Uh
(00:37:04)
he's despised and rejected by his
(00:37:06)
brothers.
(00:37:07)
Um he is thrown in a pit. He rises from
(00:37:11)
a prison to be seated at the right hand
(00:37:13)
of power. He suffers injustly.
(00:37:17)
But then he becomes
(00:37:20)
the most powerful prophetic prince. He's
(00:37:24)
ex exalted to the right hand of power
(00:37:26)
and whereby he delivers the known world
(00:37:28)
from a great doom, a great destruction
(00:37:31)
uh Jew and Gentile brings them into go
(00:37:35)
and he becomes savior of the known
(00:37:36)
world. That's I mean that arc alone just
(00:37:40)
screaming Yeshua, isn't it?
(00:37:42)
>> But Exodus 13 takes this further. It
(00:37:45)
just takes it further. It pushes it one
(00:37:47)
step further for Joseph because Joseph's
(00:37:50)
body will now vacate the tomb where he
(00:37:54)
was buried. Um
(00:37:57)
his body will be explicitly carried out
(00:37:59)
in the Exodus. A clear typology of
(00:38:02)
vacating the grave. Joseph vacates the
(00:38:04)
grave here. and Egypt. The the the tomb,
(00:38:08)
the Egyptian tomb, a picture of Shaw,
(00:38:10)
and his body under goes an exodus all
(00:38:13)
the way to the promised land because
(00:38:15)
Joseph isn't just took out of the tomb.
(00:38:17)
He goes with the children of Israel
(00:38:19)
right the way through the wilderness for
(00:38:21)
the 40 years and then he's buried in
(00:38:23)
Sheckchum. So, he comes out of Shaw and
(00:38:25)
then he goes with them all the way
(00:38:27)
through the wilderness wandering goes ra
(00:38:30)
with them to the promised land. That's
(00:38:31)
that's Joseph. How how often do we
(00:38:33)
forget that? Let's read about it. Exodus
(00:38:37)
13:19. And Moses took the bones of
(00:38:40)
Joseph with him. For he had placed the
(00:38:43)
children of Israel under a solemn oath,
(00:38:44)
saying, "God will surely visit you, and
(00:38:47)
you shall carry my bones up from here
(00:38:49)
with you." So, there's a few things that
(00:38:51)
we can see here. Firstly, look at who
(00:38:54)
who it is who takes the bones of Joseph.
(00:38:56)
Who is it? It's Moses, isn't it? It's
(00:38:59)
Moses. Now, before any of the children
(00:39:03)
leave Egypt, the first thing Moses does
(00:39:05)
is what? He lifts up Joseph. Moses, he's
(00:39:10)
a picture of what? The law. And he's
(00:39:12)
assisting in the resurrection of Messiah
(00:39:15)
Ben Joseph. He's assisting in the in the
(00:39:18)
resurrection of Messiah. Now, we know
(00:39:21)
that Yeshua did not transgress the Lord
(00:39:24)
of Moses. So, death had no legal claim
(00:39:26)
over him because he didn't sin. So Moses
(00:39:29)
still assists even in the resurrection
(00:39:31)
of Messiah now for us. So we're seeing
(00:39:34)
this typology playing out. I want you to
(00:39:37)
see how Joseph is not judged by Moses.
(00:39:41)
He's carried. He's vindicated by Moses.
(00:39:44)
In the same way, Messiah who was without
(00:39:46)
sin did not transgress Moses and
(00:39:49)
therefore the grave could not hold him
(00:39:51)
because the law had no legal
(00:39:52)
jurisdiction against him. Likewise too,
(00:39:55)
Moses is involved in the resurrection of
(00:39:58)
Yeshua, so to speak. So, we're seeing
(00:40:00)
this play out right before right before
(00:40:02)
our eyes in the book of Exodus.
(00:40:04)
So, whilst it's only God that can make
(00:40:06)
this happen, notice how the law is
(00:40:09)
intrinsically still involved in the
(00:40:12)
resurrection, so to speak, of Joseph.
(00:40:15)
Moses still now, as we know, assists in
(00:40:19)
the gospel because Yeshua did not
(00:40:21)
transgress Moses. I want you to notice
(00:40:24)
how Joseph is raised from the tomb and
(00:40:26)
his tomb becomes what? Empty. Matthew
(00:40:29)
28:5-6.
(00:40:31)
But the angel answered and said to the
(00:40:32)
woman, "Do not be afraid, for I know
(00:40:35)
that you seek Yeshua who was crucified.
(00:40:38)
He is not here, for he is risen."
(00:40:43)
The same thing could have been said in
(00:40:44)
the tomb of Joseph in it. He's not here
(00:40:46)
for he is risen.
(00:40:49)
Notice also how Joseph and Yeshua both
(00:40:53)
have the same body, but it's
(00:40:54)
transformed. Joseph's body was in a
(00:40:56)
sense without corruption because we read
(00:40:59)
in Genesis how he is embarmed.
(00:41:03)
And if you know about mummification
(00:41:06)
that would preserve the body intact
(00:41:07)
perfectly. I mean, they're still digging
(00:41:09)
up mummies now, thousands of years ago,
(00:41:10)
and the perfectly intact. It's like his
(00:41:14)
body would have been perfectly
(00:41:15)
preserved. only the marks of his death
(00:41:18)
would have been shown on his skin. Very
(00:41:20)
similar and very indicative to Yeshua.
(00:41:25)
Genesis 50:26. And Joseph died being 110
(00:41:28)
years old and they embarmed him. So when
(00:41:32)
he come out of that tomb, this is not a
(00:41:34)
throwaway detail. His original body was
(00:41:37)
preserved with purpose. Yeshua likewise
(00:41:40)
follows this with the resurrection
(00:41:41)
pattern. When Yeshua raises, he's got
(00:41:44)
that same body that he died in, but
(00:41:46)
glorified. Notice, behold my hands and
(00:41:49)
my feet, that it is mine, myself. Handle
(00:41:51)
me and see. For a spirit does not have
(00:41:53)
flesh and bones as you see. Reach your
(00:41:56)
fingers here and look on my hands and
(00:41:58)
reach your hand here and put it in my
(00:42:00)
side. Do we see? It's powerful, isn't
(00:42:02)
it?
(00:42:03)
>> Notice how both men wear the body that
(00:42:05)
they died in. Same body, but in a new
(00:42:06)
mode of existence. It's powerful.
(00:42:09)
>> I didn't care if you mentioned it or
(00:42:11)
not. Cool.
(00:42:11)
>> But how Yeshua's tomb was actually a
(00:42:14)
Joseph's tomb also.
(00:42:15)
>> Oh, beautiful.
(00:42:17)
>> Oh, yeah. No, I didn't mention that,
(00:42:18)
bro.
(00:42:19)
>> Tomb was empty twice.
(00:42:20)
>> Oh, wow. Yeah. Beautiful. Good catch,
(00:42:22)
man. Thank you so much for that. See,
(00:42:24)
man, that's how I love when the the the
(00:42:25)
ruak just ministers. We got it like a
(00:42:28)
little piece and then you just click
(00:42:29)
another jigsaw piece in and we're going,
(00:42:30)
"Wow."
(00:42:32)
Okay, so we probably got about another
(00:42:34)
20 minutes, half an hour left, but I
(00:42:36)
want to reveal something here, and this
(00:42:38)
is really profound that it's important
(00:42:41)
for us to see that after the collapse of
(00:42:43)
Egypt, what does Moses do? The first
(00:42:46)
thing he does, he goes straight to
(00:42:48)
Joseph.
(00:42:50)
>> Now, remember, these two had never met.
(00:42:52)
Joseph had been dead for many
(00:42:54)
generations before Moses was born. Yet,
(00:42:57)
Moses honors Joseph before anything
(00:42:59)
else.
(00:43:01)
He lifts him up before anything else.
(00:43:03)
And Moses, he's unable to fully see
(00:43:05)
Joseph because he's embarmed. But Joseph
(00:43:08)
still accompanies Moses right the way
(00:43:11)
through the wilderness
(00:43:13)
even though he isn't fully
(00:43:16)
>> seen like a veiled. We see through a gas
(00:43:20)
dimly. Do you see this? And he goes
(00:43:23)
right to the promised land with them.
(00:43:25)
How often can we look past that? that
(00:43:28)
Messiah, Ben, and Joseph is accompanying
(00:43:31)
the children of Israel right through the
(00:43:32)
wilderness for 40 years. Moses doesn't
(00:43:35)
get in. Joseph does.
(00:43:37)
>> He goes straight to Sheim.
(00:43:40)
It's powerful. We can lose sight of this
(00:43:42)
though, that Messiah, Ben, Yoseph went
(00:43:44)
with them right the way through the
(00:43:46)
wilderness. We focus on the cloud and
(00:43:48)
the pillar of fire and the ark of the
(00:43:50)
covenant. What about the essence of
(00:43:53)
Joseph that accompanied with them every
(00:43:55)
step of the way? It's like Jesus, isn't
(00:43:57)
it? We walk through the valley of the
(00:44:00)
shadow of death, but he's with us. I
(00:44:01)
will never leave you nor forsake you.
(00:44:03)
Lo, I am with you even to the end of the
(00:44:05)
age. It's the same.
(00:44:09)
This is a clear picture of Jesus going
(00:44:11)
out with the children of Israel and
(00:44:13)
partaking, Messiah and Yseph, partaking
(00:44:15)
in the Exodus with them. Comes out with
(00:44:17)
us. He's our deliverer. Do we see it?
(00:44:20)
And he goes through the wilderness with
(00:44:21)
them right throughout all their trial
(00:44:23)
and tribulation. There's Messiah Ben
(00:44:25)
Ysef the whole time. When they're
(00:44:27)
released, they go out of Egypt. And
(00:44:30)
there goes the the essence of Joseph
(00:44:33)
with them. It's powerful. The son of
(00:44:35)
promise. There's the Moses, the law, and
(00:44:38)
there's Joseph, Messiah, Ben, and
(00:44:40)
Joseph. It's the law and the grace going
(00:44:42)
through the wilderness with them. It's
(00:44:44)
right there. Clear picture.
(00:44:47)
I just wanted to bring this to your
(00:44:48)
attention now. And this is not something
(00:44:50)
that we we always like to do. But our
(00:44:53)
Jewish brothers and sisters, they are
(00:44:55)
really the they basically see this in a
(00:45:01)
in a way. And I'm thinking, how do they
(00:45:03)
not see Yeshua in this? So our our
(00:45:06)
Jewish brothers and sisters, they
(00:45:07)
actually attribute the sea splitting to
(00:45:11)
Joseph. Isn't this weird? So listen, I'm
(00:45:13)
not saying this is true, but I want you
(00:45:15)
to see this that this is their school of
(00:45:17)
thought. And I'll put on the screen four
(00:45:20)
different uh Jewish texts that speak
(00:45:25)
that uh when they have a midrash on the
(00:45:28)
part of the sea and we know that Moses
(00:45:30)
stretches out his hand but there's a
(00:45:32)
psalm there that says that when the sea
(00:45:34)
saw the sea parted and they midrash says
(00:45:37)
suggests that this was on the merit of
(00:45:40)
the bounds of Joseph that the sea split.
(00:45:44)
Rashi in his explanation of this he says
(00:45:47)
in the merit of Joseph's bones which
(00:45:49)
were in the coffin which they brought
(00:45:51)
from Egypt the sea split. So four times
(00:45:54)
they mention this four times they
(00:45:56)
mention it. So it's quite profound and
(00:45:58)
it's like if this is a picture of Jesus
(00:46:01)
this is before the ark. This is before
(00:46:02)
the ark of the covenant and this this um
(00:46:06)
this these bones this of Joseph is going
(00:46:08)
with them. And they're actually saying
(00:46:10)
in their text, "Oh, look, met it because
(00:46:12)
of Joseph. It's because of Joseph." It's
(00:46:14)
like, "Wow, that's deep, man."
(00:46:18)
>> Mashiach Ben Ysef.
(00:46:19)
>> The earth is refusing to swallow
(00:46:21)
Joseph's bones.
(00:46:22)
>> Beautiful.
(00:46:23)
>> He's in the proper place that was
(00:46:25)
promised for him to be.
(00:46:26)
>> Oh. Oh, wow. I love it. Fire. It's on
(00:46:29)
fire. Thank you. Love it, man.
(00:46:32)
So, how often do we forget that Joseph's
(00:46:34)
essence accompanied them out of the land
(00:46:37)
of Egypt and through the wilderness?
(00:46:40)
For 40 years, they go through trial and
(00:46:42)
tribulation.
(00:46:44)
This is a picture above of what our
(00:46:47)
Jewish brothers and sisters say
(00:46:48)
regarding the coffin of Joseph. Now in
(00:46:52)
Jewish texts going further, they for
(00:46:54)
tell how the ark of the covenant was
(00:46:57)
permanently permanently accompanied with
(00:47:00)
the coffin of Joseph. So listen to this
(00:47:03)
here in in sot 13a and this is a quote
(00:47:06)
directly from what they believe and I'm
(00:47:09)
not saying that this is 100% legit, but
(00:47:12)
this is what our Jewish brothers and
(00:47:13)
sisters believe. For 40 years, Israel
(00:47:16)
traveled in the wilderness and two arcs
(00:47:18)
went with them. Well, we know that's
(00:47:20)
true, don't we? because we've just read
(00:47:21)
it. One ark was for the Shikina glory,
(00:47:24)
the ark of the covenant, and the other
(00:47:26)
was the coffin of Joseph. And they
(00:47:28)
asked, "Is it the way of the dead to
(00:47:31)
travel with the Shikina?" And they
(00:47:32)
answered, "This one, Joseph, fulfilled
(00:47:35)
what is written in the Torah." So even
(00:47:37)
the Jews are saying that Joseph did the
(00:47:39)
Torah before the Torah even existed and
(00:47:42)
that he fulfilled the Torah. I'm going,
(00:47:44)
"My days, this is Yeshua. How did he not
(00:47:47)
see? There's the one that fulfilled the
(00:47:49)
Torah before the Torah even existed and
(00:47:51)
it's Joseph. It was like powerful in it.
(00:47:55)
And the reason why they come up with
(00:47:57)
this in the Midrash is that the word
(00:47:58)
coffin or casket is identical. It's the
(00:48:01)
same word for ark. So they say every
(00:48:05)
time we see the ark, it's the coffin as
(00:48:08)
well because it's the same word. The
(00:48:10)
casket and the coffin or the ark is the
(00:48:12)
same word. So they always say when the
(00:48:14)
when when the ark went the coffin was
(00:48:16)
with it. So much so that they even
(00:48:18)
believe in their school of thought that
(00:48:21)
it was actually Joseph that goes in
(00:48:23)
during the campaigns of Joshua. It's
(00:48:26)
like flipping heck man.
(00:48:29)
It's just like Yeshua though in it the
(00:48:31)
warrior lamb going before. It's like wow
(00:48:33)
I love it. And as we can see on the
(00:48:35)
screen the midlash plays on that coffin
(00:48:38)
and arc are exactly the same. It's aon
(00:48:41)
shakan aon of yet yph. So it's the same
(00:48:45)
it's the same word. So they put two and
(00:48:47)
two together and say anytime we see the
(00:48:49)
ark going in well it's it's Joseph going
(00:48:51)
in as well. It's like wow it's powerful.
(00:48:54)
So this is powerful.
(00:48:56)
Just imagine it for a minute. The walls
(00:48:58)
of Jericho. It's not just the ark of the
(00:49:00)
covenant. It's Messiah Ben Ysef going
(00:49:03)
around the city. The partner of the sea.
(00:49:05)
This the sea of reads. It's not just the
(00:49:07)
ark. It's Messiah Ben Ysef. It's Jesus.
(00:49:10)
It's Jesus. It's Jesus. And what they
(00:49:13)
say is that the coffin actually went
(00:49:16)
before the ark. It's like, what? Make up
(00:49:19)
what you will with that. But you've got
(00:49:21)
the word of the Lord, the covenants, and
(00:49:23)
then you've got Messiah Ben Yoseseph,
(00:49:25)
the king, just going through the
(00:49:27)
wilderness with the children of Israel.
(00:49:28)
It's like, wow, that's really powerful
(00:49:30)
and profound. It's quite mind-blowing.
(00:49:33)
The battles with the giants. There it
(00:49:36)
is. There goes the ark. There goes
(00:49:38)
Messiah Ben Ysef.
(00:49:40)
>> It's powerful. It reminds me
(00:49:44)
of a scripture like this. And lo, I am
(00:49:46)
with you always, even to the end of the
(00:49:50)
age. Amen. He's with us always. He was
(00:49:52)
with them always. And he's with us
(00:49:54)
always. Hebrews 13:5. For he himself has
(00:49:58)
said, I will never leave you nor forsake
(00:50:01)
you. And listen to this what Paul says
(00:50:03)
in the BSP. 2 Corinthians 4:10. For we
(00:50:07)
carry around in our body the death of
(00:50:10)
Yeshua Hamashiach so that the life of
(00:50:13)
Jesus Jesus may also be revealed in our
(00:50:15)
body. It's the same story in it.
(00:50:19)
>> It's the same story. Praise Yah. So
(00:50:21)
likewise beloved whenever we go into a
(00:50:25)
battle just as the Israelites had the
(00:50:27)
son of promise with them the first
(00:50:29)
Messiah and the ark of the covenant the
(00:50:31)
word of God. We too have the Messiah and
(00:50:35)
the word of God with us. It's the same
(00:50:37)
story.
(00:50:39)
Amen. We always carry around in our body
(00:50:42)
the death of Jesus Christ. Okay. So to
(00:50:45)
finish now, I hope you don't mind, bro.
(00:50:47)
I've borrowed the keys for your Tommy's
(00:50:49)
little time machine.
(00:50:51)
>> No problem.
(00:50:52)
>> You don't mind, do you?
(00:50:53)
>> No. No. There's always a seat there for.
(00:50:54)
>> Yeah. Great. So, we're going to take
(00:50:56)
we're going to take a trip in Tommy's
(00:50:58)
little time machine now.
(00:51:00)
fly back throughout the age. Yeah.
(00:51:03)
>> To go and see another profound truth.
(00:51:04)
Gueda,
(00:51:05)
>> we never go forward. We only ever go
(00:51:08)
>> the forward for him.
(00:51:09)
>> Okay. Great, man. So, we're going to
(00:51:12)
take a little trip in Tommy's time
(00:51:13)
machine now. And uh we're going to see
(00:51:16)
one final profound truth that I I really
(00:51:18)
want to share with you because I think
(00:51:20)
this is big and it relates to everything
(00:51:22)
we've been studying. So, please just
(00:51:24)
tune in last 10 minutes now. And uh
(00:51:27)
yeah, I really want to bless you with
(00:51:28)
this cuz I I really feel that it
(00:51:30)
concludes the Exodus in a great way.
(00:51:34)
Not only did God Yah shatter the idols
(00:51:37)
and the gods of Egypt and collapse
(00:51:39)
everything
(00:51:41)
for Pharaoh for all that he'd built and
(00:51:43)
all the Egyptians depended upon. But
(00:51:45)
there is one more subtle power move that
(00:51:48)
takes place in Exodus 13. And the
(00:51:51)
majority of us have actually missed it.
(00:51:53)
But the only way you're gonna understand
(00:51:54)
this is taking a little trip in Tommy's
(00:51:56)
time machine. So get in now. Buckle up.
(00:52:00)
We're going to be looking out the
(00:52:01)
windows and we're going back now to the
(00:52:02)
book of Exodus. Okay? We're going back
(00:52:04)
to Exodus 13 in Tommy's little time
(00:52:08)
machine. And we're all going to be
(00:52:09)
looking out the windows and going, "Oh,
(00:52:11)
look, there's Moses and he's going to
(00:52:13)
the tomb of Joseph and he's coming out
(00:52:15)
now with the bones of Joseph from this
(00:52:17)
Egyptian tomb. He's in barn." So we're
(00:52:20)
going back. I'm going to take you back
(00:52:21)
cuz this is actually huge. It's really
(00:52:23)
big. So, recall back to what's the first
(00:52:26)
thing Moses does? He goes and gets
(00:52:29)
Joseph before they get off. Before they
(00:52:31)
go, before he gets his livestock and his
(00:52:33)
mates, he goes to get Joseph, doesn't
(00:52:36)
he? He goes to get the bones of Joseph.
(00:52:38)
Now, Joseph, as we read, was embarmed
(00:52:42)
by the Egyptians. So, he'd undergone
(00:52:44)
rights and ceremonies of the Egyptians.
(00:52:48)
Now, for Moses to have done this, to
(00:52:50)
have gone and got Joseph out of a tomb,
(00:52:54)
to have to gone and got him, this would
(00:52:56)
have been seen as a great insult in the
(00:53:00)
religious system of Egypt. We know today
(00:53:03)
that the Egyptians were obsessed with
(00:53:06)
preserving the dead in a tomb. So much
(00:53:09)
so, they put spells on it. And grave
(00:53:11)
robbers that go have actually died
(00:53:13)
through these incantations and these
(00:53:15)
serious spells of witchcraft. and
(00:53:18)
they've they've actually perished
(00:53:19)
because they were so serious about
(00:53:21)
preserving the dead. They're so serious
(00:53:23)
about preserving the dead. So for Moses
(00:53:25)
to have done this, this would have been
(00:53:27)
a very grievous insult not only on the
(00:53:29)
society of Egypt, but on the foundation
(00:53:32)
of their religious belief system.
(00:53:35)
>> I'm going to unpack a little bit of what
(00:53:38)
the Egyptian book of the dead says
(00:53:39)
regarding this. Because for the
(00:53:42)
Egyptians, they believed to preserve the
(00:53:45)
body was not optional. It was how one
(00:53:47)
attained salvation.
(00:53:49)
That when they were put to rest and they
(00:53:51)
were embarmed, that was it then until
(00:53:53)
that was it. And that if you interfered
(00:53:55)
with that body, not only were you going
(00:53:57)
to curse yourself, you were also
(00:54:00)
bringing a great charge against the gods
(00:54:02)
of the underworld, Osiris. And you were
(00:54:04)
also interfering with that person's
(00:54:06)
salvation. So here we have Moses. What
(00:54:08)
does he go and do? What's the first
(00:54:09)
thing that he goes and does? It's very
(00:54:11)
deep. So in the Egyptian book of the
(00:54:13)
dead for the Egyptians the body the cat
(00:54:15)
had to remain intact so that the car the
(00:54:18)
life force and the bar the personality
(00:54:20)
could return. The tomb of the buried was
(00:54:23)
thus the eternal address and the land of
(00:54:26)
Egypt in the the book of the dead was
(00:54:29)
actually sacred soil and then if you
(00:54:31)
moved that person from the sacred soil
(00:54:34)
to somewhere else they were cut off from
(00:54:37)
salvation. What's Moses up to here? Oh,
(00:54:40)
naughty Moses, what are you up to? And
(00:54:43)
they believe that disturbing a tomb is
(00:54:45)
grievous, a grievous insult, sacrilege.
(00:54:48)
So, one could be considered cut off from
(00:54:50)
the afterlife because of this.
(00:54:53)
And I'm quoting from the Egyptian book
(00:54:54)
of the dead there. The dead was required
(00:54:56)
to have a body intact, have a stable
(00:54:59)
tomb undisturbed, and have continual
(00:55:02)
placements in Egyptian soil. And there's
(00:55:04)
a quote here from the book of the dead.
(00:55:06)
It says, "My body shall not perish. My
(00:55:08)
tomb shall not be destroyed. My resting
(00:55:11)
place shall not be violated. Because
(00:55:13)
they believed that once you're in,
(00:55:15)
you're secure. You're in the in Egyptian
(00:55:17)
soil. As long as you're preserved, well,
(00:55:19)
then you've got salvation. What does you
(00:55:21)
what does Moses go and do at this point?
(00:55:24)
What does Moses go and do? Here's
(00:55:26)
another quote here. It speaks in the
(00:55:28)
Egyptian book of the dead that he who is
(00:55:29)
deprived from a burial is annihilated.
(00:55:32)
Oh gosh, poor Joseph. Oh dear. What have
(00:55:36)
you done Moses to poor Joseph?
(00:55:39)
And this means to lose one's burial
(00:55:43)
is is to cease to exist eternally. This
(00:55:45)
is what they believed.
(00:55:48)
So it's important to note here that the
(00:55:50)
Egyptian texts also speak that those who
(00:55:53)
disturb the tomb that are involved in
(00:55:56)
this, this was not just theft. It was
(00:55:59)
treason to the gods that what you were
(00:56:02)
doing was actually so grievous that you
(00:56:05)
were actually insulting the god of the
(00:56:07)
underworld and it was a total attack on
(00:56:09)
Osiris. So if that was their god, the
(00:56:11)
god of the underworld and you go and you
(00:56:13)
do this, you've got a meeting with my
(00:56:15)
man cuz that the body's his property. So
(00:56:18)
what does my man Moses go and do there?
(00:56:21)
He flies in and he's like, "Where's
(00:56:23)
Joseph, man?" Boom. and he does a hit on
(00:56:25)
this tomb and he pulls Joseph out of
(00:56:27)
this place and he says, "Nah." He says,
(00:56:30)
"Nah." So, not only was it attack on the
(00:56:34)
Egyptian
(00:56:36)
Egyptology and their doctrine of
(00:56:38)
salvation, this was also a final swoop
(00:56:42)
on Osiris who had claim to the dead in
(00:56:45)
the underworld. Yah was again destroying
(00:56:48)
death
(00:56:50)
with death. He was destroying death with
(00:56:53)
death. The death of Joseph.
(00:56:57)
He raises up the Messiah
(00:57:00)
and totally dissolves
(00:57:03)
the Egyptian religion there. And then
(00:57:05)
all the Egyptians put their trust in
(00:57:07)
Yahweh was now testifying to Egypt that
(00:57:09)
day that your way to salvation was
(00:57:12)
totally false. In a sense then Joseph's
(00:57:15)
removal functions as a final unspoken
(00:57:18)
plague not against the Egyptian land and
(00:57:21)
all the people but against its
(00:57:23)
understanding in the afterlife itself
(00:57:27)
as this is also a school of thought to
(00:57:31)
why Pharaoh does what he does. So
(00:57:33)
Pharaoh says let them go let them go on
(00:57:36)
get get rid get rid. And then we read in
(00:57:38)
Exodus 14:5, now it was told to the king
(00:57:42)
of Egypt that the people had fled
(00:57:45)
and that the heart of Pharaoh and his
(00:57:47)
servants was now turned against the
(00:57:49)
people and they said, "Why have they
(00:57:51)
done this?" So we see here that it says
(00:57:54)
the king of Egypt is gets told that the
(00:57:57)
people had fled, but he's just told the
(00:58:00)
children of Israel that they can go in
(00:58:02)
the previous verses. What people do you
(00:58:05)
think they're going on about here? This
(00:58:06)
is the people of Egypt. Pharaoh's now
(00:58:08)
told, "Oh, look, your people are getting
(00:58:10)
off here as well." And now his head
(00:58:12)
goes, man, now these Pharaohs that get
(00:58:15)
buried in the Valley of the Kings and
(00:58:16)
get preserved. When they find out that
(00:58:19)
Joseph's tomb is gone, and I'm just
(00:58:22)
going to submit that for your
(00:58:23)
consideration. This is what sends his
(00:58:26)
head west. And now he says, "Let's get
(00:58:28)
the chariots. We're going after them."
(00:58:29)
So notice how the people fled. What
(00:58:31)
people believe this could be the
(00:58:33)
Egyptians. It's my belief that this is
(00:58:35)
not related solely to Israel because
(00:58:37)
they just been released. But now the
(00:58:39)
Egyptians were also fleeing
(00:58:41)
>> because what was happening their whole
(00:58:44)
social structure was crumbling. And now
(00:58:46)
even their religious belief that if you
(00:58:48)
take a king or a pharaoh but even a
(00:58:50)
prince out of the tomb that he's cut off
(00:58:53)
from the world to come and Moses is
(00:58:55)
going that's not true. the salvation in
(00:58:58)
Yah alone and he's taking the bones of
(00:59:00)
Egypt and of of Joseph from Egypt and
(00:59:03)
saying this is not sacred soil tell you
(00:59:06)
where it is we're going there just want
(00:59:08)
to come
(00:59:09)
>> so Joseph's coffin leaving Egypt
(00:59:11)
silently declared that resurrection does
(00:59:15)
not belong to the Egyptian gods nor to
(00:59:18)
Egyptian soil it dismantled the
(00:59:21)
religious system right before their eyes
(00:59:24)
that one of the princes of Egypt that
(00:59:25)
saved the entire nation was now leaving
(00:59:27)
Egypt. And it got me thinking, is this
(00:59:30)
why else a lot of them went? Cuz all of
(00:59:32)
a sudden the the pharaohs that they so
(00:59:34)
revered, well, here's your number one
(00:59:36)
coming out, mate. Here's the king of
(00:59:38)
here's the king of all the here's the
(00:59:39)
king of kings going now, Joseph. And
(00:59:41)
they're going,
(00:59:42)
>> oh, wow. Yeah. Didn't he save us? We're
(00:59:44)
going to follow that. I just see that
(00:59:47)
and just I think there's layers to it.
(00:59:49)
You know
(00:59:50)
>> that what Moses does here, he he
(00:59:52)
singlehandedly just destroys the
(00:59:54)
religion of Egypt. that salvation is not
(00:59:57)
in a tomb with Osiris, it's with Yah.
(01:00:00)
And by him doing this, he was outwardly
(01:00:03)
rebelling against Egyptology completely
(01:00:06)
because they said this, whoever does
(01:00:08)
this is cursed. And whoever does this
(01:00:11)
has attacked Osiris and whoever does
(01:00:13)
this will be cut off from salvation. And
(01:00:15)
Moses goes in, mate, and just does it.
(01:00:17)
So listen, that scripture comes to mind.
(01:00:21)
Oh death, I will be your death. Oh
(01:00:24)
grave, I will become your grave.
(01:00:27)
Oh death, where art thou stringer has
(01:00:29)
been swallowed up in victory. So could
(01:00:31)
it be to end? Could it be that the
(01:00:33)
resurrection of Joseph, so to speak, was
(01:00:36)
the final nail in the coffin that turned
(01:00:38)
the heart of the Egyptians completely to
(01:00:40)
Yah as they would now be led out of
(01:00:43)
Egypt, not just with Moses, but by the
(01:00:46)
king of Egypt, who they once esteemed
(01:00:48)
and revered as the greatest. I think
(01:00:50)
this is a big possibility that the
(01:00:52)
resurrection of Joseph here and now
(01:00:55)
actually plays a bigger role than what
(01:00:57)
we actually believe because for the
(01:00:59)
Egyptians when they seen that take place
(01:01:01)
their whole religious system was going
(01:01:03)
to collapse and there it is Messiah and
(01:01:06)
Yosesef going out and they were going to
(01:01:08)
follow the king the Messiah. They were
(01:01:10)
going to follow him.
(01:01:12)
>> So with that beloved
(01:01:14)
we will come to an end and we will pray.
(01:01:16)
Thanks Joseph.
(01:01:17)
>> Thanks everyone.
(01:01:19)
Hallelujah.
(01:01:22)
>> Abby, we thank you, Father, for your
(01:01:24)
word. We bless you, Lord God, for the
(01:01:26)
scripture, Lord, the holy scripture.
(01:01:28)
Thank you that we see typologies, types,
(01:01:30)
and shadows of Jesus, Lord, all the way
(01:01:33)
through the Bible. That we even see the
(01:01:35)
resurrection of the king, Messiah, and
(01:01:37)
Ysef here now in the text in the book of
(01:01:40)
Exodus. And how when this took place,
(01:01:43)
Lord, it completely dismantled the
(01:01:45)
religious systems of salvation in
(01:01:47)
Egyptology and the book of the dead. And
(01:01:49)
how you destroyed death with death. And
(01:01:51)
you had one final move, Lord, to show
(01:01:54)
Egypt the power of the resurrection
(01:01:56)
taking place before their eyes in a
(01:01:59)
micro form. Lord, thank you that we get
(01:02:01)
to see this and view it with the lens of
(01:02:03)
Yeshua and see how even Moses, though he
(01:02:05)
had never met Joseph, still assists in
(01:02:08)
the raising of his bones from the tomb.
(01:02:12)
And here we see Yeshua, Lord, who at the
(01:02:14)
mount of transfiguration is accompanied
(01:02:16)
with Moses in the land. It's a prophetic
(01:02:19)
picture, Lord. And we rejoice that we
(01:02:21)
can see and have eyes to see and that we
(01:02:24)
can unpack the continuity that you have
(01:02:25)
given us right throughout your word. We
(01:02:28)
bless you for the golden threads, Lord,
(01:02:30)
in Yeshua's name. Amen. Amen.
(01:02:33)
>> Shalom everyone, and thank you for
(01:02:35)
watching. We hope that you enjoyed this
(01:02:36)
video and that you've been blessed by
(01:02:38)
the content that we, as a ministry, put
(01:02:40)
out online so that you, the viewer, can
(01:02:42)
participate in the worship with us
(01:02:44)
together, regardless of any physical
(01:02:46)
limitations and in the comfort and
(01:02:48)
convenience of your own home or anywhere
(01:02:51)
in the four corners of the world that
(01:02:53)
you may be. We endeavor to bless the
(01:02:55)
household of Yah and use online
(01:02:57)
platforms along with other media outlets
(01:02:59)
to preach the gospel with a goal to
(01:03:02)
teach all things found in the entire
(01:03:05)
scroll as we rediscover his Torah and
(01:03:08)
its applications for our life today.
(01:03:10)
Hallelujah. But we are fundamentally a
(01:03:12)
physical ministry first operating out of
(01:03:14)
houses like the first church in the book
(01:03:17)
of Acts. So whilst the Lord has blessed
(01:03:19)
the work of our hands and brought a
(01:03:20)
fruitful increase in the toil of this
(01:03:22)
field, without your support, sharing the
(01:03:24)
physical ministry online just wouldn't
(01:03:26)
be possible. It's important to note that
(01:03:28)
none of the leaders or teachers of this
(01:03:29)
fellowship are in full-time ministry. We
(01:03:32)
are working men with full-time jobs to
(01:03:34)
support our own lives and families. And
(01:03:36)
we revealed this personal truth often so
(01:03:39)
people understand that the work we do as
(01:03:41)
a ministry is a free will offering and
(01:03:43)
that our purse is not sponsored because
(01:03:45)
of a financial appetite but rather we do
(01:03:48)
this labor because we love Yeshua and we
(01:03:50)
are being commissioned by him to do so.
(01:03:53)
Although your support means that we can
(01:03:54)
continue to capture, create and operate
(01:03:57)
to produce videos and content that can
(01:03:59)
be routinely uploaded for you as the
(01:04:01)
viewer, this is actually a costly
(01:04:03)
operation. And of course, there are many
(01:04:05)
cogs that turn to help edit and release
(01:04:07)
on time uh so that you can all come and
(01:04:09)
join us on the Torah cycle or the
(01:04:11)
appointed times and everything else in
(01:04:13)
between. If you do find yourself tuning
(01:04:15)
into our ministry regularly or are led,
(01:04:18)
we ask that you consider tiding or
(01:04:20)
blessing us with an offering to help
(01:04:22)
support of this online content. To do
(01:04:24)
this, there are two options. The first
(01:04:27)
is a link via PayPal in the description
(01:04:30)
below. Alternatively, you can email us
(01:04:33)
stating you would like to tithe or give
(01:04:35)
an offering at almond
(01:04:37)
housefellowshipgmail.com.
(01:04:39)
From there, we will reply back to you
(01:04:42)
and send our bank details and you can
(01:04:44)
give via a bank transfer or by any means
(01:04:48)
you find fit. Our email and the link to
(01:04:51)
PayPal are all found in the description
(01:04:54)
below. With your support, we can keep
(01:04:56)
this online lighthouse shining to people
(01:04:58)
all around the world so that they can
(01:05:01)
come and gather and glean the fruit and
(01:05:03)
see the wonderful works that Yah is
(01:05:05)
doing in this ministry. Finally, we are
(01:05:07)
continuing to raise funds with the
(01:05:08)
Almond Grove. That's a long-term vision
(01:05:11)
for generational ministry. So, if you'd
(01:05:12)
like to know more about that or you want
(01:05:14)
information on that, you can find the
(01:05:16)
link in the description below. We truly
(01:05:18)
thank everyone for your support,
(01:05:20)
feedback, comments, emails. Until our
(01:05:22)
next video, from our house to your
(01:05:24)
house.
(01:05:25)
>> Shalom.
