astrology (00:00:05) what does it mean on that fundamental (00:00:07) level so up to this point we've talked (00:00:09) about the first through the fourth (00:00:10) houses and coming out of the fourth (00:00:13) house where we became aware of our (00:00:15) feelings the importance of security now (00:00:17) once we have that security and that (00:00:19) connection to our feelings there's only (00:00:20) one thing left to do and that's to (00:00:21) express ourselves and to create and (00:00:24) that's essentially what the fifth house (00:00:25) is uh anything that is about creativity (00:00:28) anything that is about self-expression (00:00:29) and our interest passions in life so to (00:00:32) give you some examples some areas of (00:00:33) life associated with this might be (00:00:35) children because again that's a creation (00:00:38) and a passion in our life romance very (00:00:41) passionate there can also be seen from (00:00:42) the fifth house any creative projects (00:00:46) entrepreneurialship uh small business (00:00:47) can be seen from the fifth even (00:00:49) speculative business because it's not so (00:00:51) grounded like Capricorn in the Earthly (00:00:53) sense more about again just the interest (00:00:55) side of it um you can also see any type (00:00:58) of entertainment from the fifth house (00:01:00) and interests and hobbies in and of (00:01:02) themselves so you can get a better idea (00:01:04) of what the fifth house is by looking at (00:01:05) its location it's at the bottom of the (00:01:07) chart and the right so the bottom right (00:01:09) quadrant and so in terms of it being in (00:01:11) the bottom it's very subjective and (00:01:13) intrinsic in nature which is again our (00:01:15) own personal interest yet it's on the (00:01:17) right side which has to do with (00:01:19) interpersonal relationships so in other (00:01:21) words you know it's not just us creating (00:01:23) for our own sake it's who is for who (00:01:26) right there there needs to be that other (00:01:27) party in terms of who's receiving the (00:01:29) self-expression or this creation so (00:01:32) that's a big part of the fifth house in (00:01:33) terms of that and you can also see this (00:01:35) too by the yaxis you know the fifth is (00:01:38) opposite the 11th and this axis has to (00:01:40) do with again the interests but here the (00:01:42) 11th house is about what the community (00:01:45) needs what do others need what does the (00:01:47) world need and here's where we can (00:01:49) really you know balance out the fifth (00:01:51) especially if there's a lot of energy in (00:01:52) the fifth where it can Channel and it (00:01:55) channels through really being other (00:01:56) oriented and focused in terms of where (00:01:58) we can give our interests our passions (00:02:00) our self-expression to the community or (00:02:03) to others around us uh so that's a big (00:02:06) uh part of the fifth and the 11th it's (00:02:07) also a fire house it's associated with (00:02:09) the sun and of course Leo as you might (00:02:11) imagine um it's also a suced in house (00:02:14) too and the other suced in house we (00:02:15) talked about was Taurus which has more (00:02:17) to do with our own personal material (00:02:19) values here you might as well think of (00:02:21) it as our non-material interests right (00:02:23) it's a value it's something we pursue in (00:02:25) life but here it's about Joy playfulness (00:02:28) fun you know entertainment these kinds (00:02:30) of things in life so that's essentially (00:02:32) what the fifth is um if you want more (00:02:34) information do check to see what planets (00:02:36) are in that fifth house and any signs (00:02:39) that take up that fifth house (00:02:40) specifically that fifth house cusp so (00:02:42) for example if you got Saturn in that (00:02:44) fifth house this would be someone who (00:02:45) takes very seriously these areas of life (00:02:49) um and any aspects to Saturn would of (00:02:50) course be important and then the sign (00:02:52) will show you the qualities uh in which (00:02:55) this person expresses themselves create (00:02:57) Etc so in this sense this would be uh (00:02:59) let's give an example cancer uh the way (00:03:01) this person expresses themselves would (00:03:03) perhaps be in a more nurturing way and (00:03:05) the way they create is probably more in (00:03:07) the emotional level okay so if you want (00:03:10) to just look at those you get a pretty (00:03:11) good idea but if you want to get more (00:03:13) specific you can look at the ruler of (00:03:15) the fifth house so the ruler of that (00:03:16) fifth house cusp so in this example it (00:03:18) would be the moon you want to look at (00:03:20) where the Moon is placed both in house (00:03:22) and sign position but um yeah it all (00:03:25) depends on what that cusp is so if it's (00:03:26) Gemini it'll be Mercury and I do have a (00:03:28) PDF down below for the rulership so you (00:03:31) can help see this for yourself but along (00:03:33) with the ruler you also want to look at (00:03:35) the significator which is going to give (00:03:37) you even more multifaceted picture and (00:03:39) that is the sun in everyone's chart so (00:03:42) see where the sun is placed both in (00:03:43) house and sign position and
