(00:00:00)
Where to go on the first day of the
(00:00:02)
tribulation? Jesus warned us. There's a
(00:00:06)
specific instruction Jesus gave his
(00:00:08)
followers that could mean the difference
(00:00:10)
between life and death when the
(00:00:12)
tribulation begins. But here's what will
(00:00:15)
shock you. Less than 5% of Christians
(00:00:19)
today know what this instruction is. You
(00:00:22)
will be shocked when you find the seven
(00:00:24)
discoveries about the beginning of the
(00:00:26)
tribulation.
(00:00:29)
Discovery one, the first day of the
(00:00:32)
tribulation, the abomination of
(00:00:34)
desolation returns.
(00:00:38)
Jesus spoke of a great desolation that
(00:00:41)
would mark the beginning of the worst
(00:00:43)
period in human history. Daniel 9 also
(00:00:47)
describes it. Discovery 2, where do you
(00:00:50)
flee? Revelation 12 tells us. But here's
(00:00:54)
the question that could literally save
(00:00:56)
your life. When Jesus said flee to the
(00:00:59)
mountains, which mountains? When he said
(00:01:02)
run, where exactly are you supposed to
(00:01:05)
run to? This isn't an academic question.
(00:01:09)
This isn't theological speculation.
(00:01:12)
If you find yourself facing the
(00:01:14)
abomination of desolation, knowing the
(00:01:17)
wrong location could mean the difference
(00:01:19)
between supernatural protection and
(00:01:22)
certain death. The answer has been
(00:01:24)
hidden in Revelation 12 for nearly 2,000
(00:01:27)
years, waiting for the generation that
(00:01:30)
would need it. Revelation 12:6 gives us
(00:01:34)
the first clue. Then the woman fled into
(00:01:38)
the wilderness where she has a place
(00:01:40)
prepared by God that they should feed
(00:01:43)
her there 1,260
(00:01:47)
days.
(00:01:48)
The woman represents Israel,
(00:01:51)
specifically the believing remnant of
(00:01:53)
Israel, who will recognize the
(00:01:55)
Antichrist's deception and flee his
(00:01:58)
persecution.
(00:01:59)
But the principle applies to all
(00:02:01)
believers who find themselves in the
(00:02:03)
tribulation.
(00:02:05)
Notice three crucial details that will
(00:02:07)
determine your survival.
(00:02:10)
First, a place prepared by God. This
(00:02:14)
isn't just any wilderness location. This
(00:02:17)
isn't a general instruction to head for
(00:02:19)
rural areas or find a cave somewhere.
(00:02:23)
God has prepared a specific place chosen
(00:02:26)
in advance equipped for what's coming.
(00:02:30)
Second, they should feed her there. This
(00:02:34)
isn't just about finding a place to
(00:02:36)
hide. It's about finding a place where
(00:02:38)
God will supernaturally provide food,
(00:02:41)
water, and everything needed for
(00:02:44)
survival.
(00:02:45)
Just like he fed Israel in the Sinai
(00:02:48)
wilderness for 40 years.
(00:02:51)
Third, 1,260
(00:02:54)
days, exactly 3 and 1/2 years, half of
(00:02:59)
the 7-year tribulation period. This
(00:03:02)
wilderness refuge isn't a temporary
(00:03:04)
hideout. It's a long-term sanctuary for
(00:03:07)
the entire second half of the
(00:03:09)
tribulation.
(00:03:10)
But here's what's going to blow your
(00:03:12)
mind. God may have been preparing this
(00:03:15)
place for thousands of years.
(00:03:19)
Has God already prepared a physical
(00:03:21)
place waiting in silence for this
(00:03:25)
moment? The wilderness in biblical
(00:03:27)
prophecy isn't just symbolic. It's
(00:03:30)
geographical.
(00:03:32)
When God told Israel to wander in the
(00:03:34)
wilderness for 40 years, he didn't mean
(00:03:37)
they should develop a wilderness
(00:03:38)
mentality. He meant they should
(00:03:41)
literally live in the physical
(00:03:42)
wilderness between Egypt and the
(00:03:44)
promised land. When Elijah fled to the
(00:03:47)
wilderness, he didn't go to a spiritual
(00:03:50)
state of mind. He went to the actual
(00:03:53)
desert where God fed him through ravens
(00:03:56)
and sustained him by a brook. When David
(00:03:59)
was fleeing from Saul, he didn't retreat
(00:04:02)
into emotional isolation. He hid in
(00:04:05)
literal caves in the physical wilderness
(00:04:08)
of Judea. The pattern is consistent.
(00:04:12)
When God says wilderness, he means
(00:04:14)
actual wilderness. But what does
(00:04:17)
wilderness mean in the context of the
(00:04:19)
end times? Let's look at the
(00:04:21)
geographical and spiritual
(00:04:23)
characteristics.
(00:04:25)
Geographically,
(00:04:26)
a place that's isolated from major
(00:04:29)
population centers, difficult to access
(00:04:32)
by conventional military forces,
(00:04:35)
naturally defensible with water sources
(00:04:38)
and potential for sustainable living.
(00:04:41)
Spiritually, a place of testing,
(00:04:45)
refining, and complete dependence on
(00:04:48)
God, where human systems fail and divine
(00:04:51)
provision becomes essential for
(00:04:53)
survival.
(00:04:55)
strategically, a location outside the
(00:04:58)
Antichrist's immediate sphere of
(00:05:00)
control, beyond the reach of his
(00:05:02)
surveillance systems, away from the
(00:05:05)
economic infrastructure that will
(00:05:07)
require the mark of the beast.
(00:05:10)
Prophetically, a place that's
(00:05:12)
specifically mentioned or alluded to in
(00:05:14)
biblical prophecy as a refuge for God's
(00:05:17)
people during the final persecution.
(00:05:20)
Now, here's where this gets absolutely
(00:05:23)
fascinating.
(00:05:25)
Multiple Old Testament prophecies may be
(00:05:28)
pointing to the same geographical
(00:05:30)
location.
(00:05:31)
Daniel 11:41 describes the Antichrist's
(00:05:35)
military campaigns.
(00:05:37)
He shall also enter the glorious land,
(00:05:40)
and many countries shall be overthrown.
(00:05:43)
But these shall escape from his hand.
(00:05:46)
Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of
(00:05:49)
Ammon.
(00:05:51)
Three territories that will escape from
(00:05:53)
his hand. Edom, Moab, and Ammon. These
(00:05:58)
are regions in modern-day Jordan, east
(00:06:01)
of the Dead Sea, in mountainous
(00:06:03)
wilderness terrain. While the Antichrist
(00:06:06)
conquers most of the Middle East, these
(00:06:09)
specific areas remain outside his
(00:06:12)
control.
(00:06:13)
Why would God preserve these particular
(00:06:15)
territories from the Antichrist's
(00:06:18)
conquest unless they serve a specific
(00:06:20)
purpose in his plan? Isaiah 16:1-4
(00:06:26)
gives us another clue.
(00:06:28)
Send the lamb to the ruler of the land,
(00:06:30)
from Sa to the wilderness, to the mount
(00:06:33)
of the daughter of Zion.
(00:06:36)
Let my outcasts dwell with you, O Moab.
(00:06:39)
be a shelter to them from the face of
(00:06:42)
the spoiler.
(00:06:44)
From Cellah to the wilderness. Cella
(00:06:47)
means rock in Hebrew. And many scholars
(00:06:51)
believe this refers to the rock city we
(00:06:53)
now call Petra.
(00:06:55)
Be a shelter to them from the face of
(00:06:57)
the spoiler. The spoiler is the
(00:07:00)
antichrist. And this passage
(00:07:02)
specifically commands the region to
(00:07:04)
provide shelter for God's people fleeing
(00:07:07)
from him. But here's the most stunning
(00:07:10)
detail. Revelation 12:14
(00:07:14)
tells us exactly how this escape will
(00:07:17)
happen. But the woman was given two
(00:07:20)
wings of a great eagle that she might
(00:07:22)
fly into the wilderness to her place
(00:07:25)
where she is nourished for a time and
(00:07:27)
times and half a time from the presence
(00:07:31)
of the serpent.
(00:07:33)
Two wings of a great eagle. This imagery
(00:07:36)
isn't random. Exodus 19:4.
(00:07:41)
You have seen what I did to the
(00:07:43)
Egyptians and how I bore you on eagle's
(00:07:46)
wings and brought you to myself.
(00:07:50)
When Israel was trapped in Egypt with
(00:07:52)
Pharaoh's army pursuing them, God didn't
(00:07:55)
just give them directions to walk to
(00:07:57)
safety. He supernaturally transported
(00:08:00)
them through the Red Sea on dry ground.
(00:08:03)
He provided a pillar of cloud by day and
(00:08:07)
fire by night to guide them. He made
(00:08:10)
their shoes not wear out during 40 years
(00:08:13)
of wilderness wandering.
(00:08:16)
God doesn't just provide escape routes.
(00:08:18)
He provides miraculous transportation
(00:08:21)
and supernatural guidance. So when
(00:08:24)
Revelation 12:14 says the woman will be
(00:08:27)
given wings of a great eagle to fly to
(00:08:31)
her place in the wilderness, it's
(00:08:33)
describing divine intervention on a
(00:08:36)
scale that will make the Exodus look
(00:08:38)
small by comparison. Whether this means
(00:08:41)
literal flight, supernatural speed, or
(00:08:45)
divinely orchestrated transportation,
(00:08:48)
the message is clear. God will
(00:08:50)
personally ensure his people reach the
(00:08:53)
prepared place. But here's what should
(00:08:56)
give you chills. This isn't just about
(00:08:59)
Israel. Revelation 12:17 makes it clear
(00:09:03)
that Satan's fury extends beyond the
(00:09:06)
Jewish remnant. And the dragon was
(00:09:09)
enraged with the woman. And he went to
(00:09:12)
make war with the rest of her offspring
(00:09:14)
who keep the commandments of God and
(00:09:17)
have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The
(00:09:20)
rest of her offspring, Gentile believers
(00:09:23)
who find themselves in the tribulation,
(00:09:25)
will also be targets of Satan's
(00:09:27)
persecution.
(00:09:29)
Think about the logistics. If millions
(00:09:32)
of people from around the world need to
(00:09:34)
flee to this wilderness location within
(00:09:36)
hours of the abomination of desolation,
(00:09:39)
how will they get there? How will they
(00:09:42)
know where to go? How will they survive
(00:09:45)
the journey? Human planning couldn't
(00:09:48)
orchestrate such a massive evacuation,
(00:09:51)
but divine intervention could. Just like
(00:09:55)
God guided Israel through the wilderness
(00:09:58)
with a pillar of cloud and fire. Just
(00:10:01)
like he transported Philillip
(00:10:02)
supernaturally from Gaza to Azotus. Just
(00:10:06)
like he provided for Elijah's needs
(00:10:09)
through ravens and angels, God will
(00:10:12)
guide, transport, and provide for the
(00:10:15)
tribulation refugees in ways that defy
(00:10:18)
natural explanation.
(00:10:20)
The wilderness becomes more than a
(00:10:22)
hiding place. It becomes a miracle zone
(00:10:25)
where God's supernatural power sustains
(00:10:28)
life in impossible circumstances.
(00:10:32)
And here's the most important detail of
(00:10:34)
all where she is nourished for a time
(00:10:37)
and times and half a time. Not just
(00:10:42)
sheltered, not just hidden, nourished.
(00:10:46)
Just like God fed Israel with mana for
(00:10:49)
40 years, just like he brought water
(00:10:52)
from rocks and kept their clothing from
(00:10:54)
wearing out, he will supernaturally
(00:10:57)
provide everything needed for survival
(00:10:59)
in the wilderness refuge.
(00:11:02)
Food, water, shelter, protection,
(00:11:06)
healing, guidance, all provided
(00:11:09)
miraculously for 1,260
(00:11:13)
days.
(00:11:14)
The place God has prepared won't just be
(00:11:17)
a barren hideout where people struggle
(00:11:19)
to survive. It will be a supernatural
(00:11:22)
sanctuary where divine provision makes
(00:11:25)
thriving possible even in the world's
(00:11:27)
darkest hour. But you have to get there
(00:11:30)
first. And you have to be there when the
(00:11:33)
wings of the great eagle are provided.
(00:11:36)
Because once Satan realizes where the
(00:11:38)
refugees have fled, once he discovers
(00:11:41)
the location of the prepared place,
(00:11:44)
he'll marshall every force at his
(00:11:46)
disposal to destroy it. But that's when
(00:11:49)
the real miracle happens. Revelation
(00:11:53)
12:15-16.
(00:11:56)
So the serpent spewed water out of his
(00:11:58)
mouth like a flood after the woman that
(00:12:01)
he might cause her to be carried away by
(00:12:03)
the flood. But the earth helped the
(00:12:06)
woman, and the earth opened its mouth
(00:12:09)
and swallowed up the flood which the
(00:12:11)
dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Even
(00:12:15)
when Satan discovers the refuge and
(00:12:17)
attacks it, the earth itself will
(00:12:19)
supernaturally defend God's people. The
(00:12:23)
wilderness isn't just a place to hide.
(00:12:25)
It's a place where heaven and earth
(00:12:27)
collaborate to preserve the faithful
(00:12:30)
until Christ returns.
(00:12:34)
Discovery three, spiritual deception.
(00:12:37)
But the wilderness will be a place of
(00:12:39)
spiritual clarity and divine protection.
(00:12:43)
The world's most dangerous place becomes
(00:12:46)
God's safest place.
(00:12:50)
Discovery 5, the rise of the false
(00:12:53)
prophet and the mark.
(00:12:57)
But why is fleeing so urgent? Why can't
(00:13:00)
believers just stay where they are and
(00:13:02)
try to blend in? Because what the
(00:13:05)
Antichrist establishes after the
(00:13:07)
abomination of desolation isn't just
(00:13:09)
persecution.
(00:13:11)
It's a complete economic and spiritual
(00:13:13)
prison. Revelation 13:11-17
(00:13:18)
describes the second beast, the false
(00:13:21)
prophet. Then I saw another beast coming
(00:13:24)
up out of the earth, and he had two
(00:13:27)
horns like a lamb, and spoke like a
(00:13:30)
dragon. He performs great signs, so that
(00:13:33)
he even makes fire come down from heaven
(00:13:36)
on the earth in the sight of men. And he
(00:13:39)
deceives those who dwell on the earth by
(00:13:42)
those signs, telling those who dwell on
(00:13:44)
the earth to make an image to the beast.
(00:13:48)
He was granted power to give breath to
(00:13:50)
the image of the beast. That the image
(00:13:52)
of the beast should both speak and cause
(00:13:55)
as many as would not worship the image
(00:13:57)
of the beast to be killed. He causes
(00:14:01)
all, both small and great, rich and
(00:14:04)
poor, free and slave, to receive a mark
(00:14:08)
on their right hand or on their
(00:14:10)
foreheads. and that no one may buy or
(00:14:13)
sell except one who has the mark or the
(00:14:16)
name of the beast or the number of his
(00:14:18)
name. Will you take the mark to survive
(00:14:22)
or lose everything to remain faithful?
(00:14:25)
This isn't just religious persecution.
(00:14:28)
This is complete economic slavery. No
(00:14:31)
mark, no food. No mark, no shelter. No
(00:14:36)
mark, no medical care. No mark, no
(00:14:39)
participation in society at all. And
(00:14:42)
taking the mark means eternal damnation.
(00:14:46)
Revelation 14:9-11.
(00:14:50)
If anyone worships the beast and his
(00:14:52)
image, and receives his mark on his
(00:14:54)
forehead or on his hand, he himself
(00:14:58)
shall also drink of the wine of the
(00:15:00)
wrath of God, which is poured out full
(00:15:02)
strength into the cup of his
(00:15:04)
indignation.
(00:15:06)
There's no middle ground, no compromised
(00:15:09)
position, no way to play both sides. You
(00:15:13)
either flee to the wilderness and trust
(00:15:15)
God for provision, or you stay in the
(00:15:19)
system and damn your soul forever.
(00:15:23)
Discovery six, when refusing the mark
(00:15:26)
means running for your life.
(00:15:30)
And here's what makes the situation
(00:15:32)
absolutely desperate. Once the mark
(00:15:34)
system is implemented, refusing it won't
(00:15:37)
just mean economic hardship. It will
(00:15:39)
mean active persecution and death.
(00:15:42)
Revelation 13:7.
(00:15:45)
It was granted to him to make war with
(00:15:48)
the saints and to overcome them. And
(00:15:51)
authority was given him over every
(00:15:53)
tribe, tongue, and nation.
(00:15:56)
Make war with the saints.
(00:15:59)
This won't feel like religious
(00:16:01)
persecution. It will look like law
(00:16:03)
enforcement. It will be presented as
(00:16:06)
public safety, national security, and
(00:16:09)
social responsibility.
(00:16:12)
The propaganda will be sophisticated.
(00:16:15)
These people are selfish. They're
(00:16:17)
preventing economic recovery. They're
(00:16:20)
putting everyone at risk by refusing to
(00:16:23)
participate in the new system. They're
(00:16:26)
religious extremists who value their
(00:16:29)
superstitions more than human lives.
(00:16:32)
The entire world will be turned against
(00:16:34)
anyone who refuses the mark. And the
(00:16:37)
technology to hunt down and eliminate
(00:16:39)
refusers will be unlike anything in
(00:16:42)
human history. Facial recognition,
(00:16:46)
biometric tracking, AI powered
(00:16:49)
surveillance, quantum computing, global
(00:16:52)
databases,
(00:16:54)
satellite monitoring.
(00:16:56)
There will be nowhere to hide in the
(00:16:58)
cities, nowhere to blend in.
(00:17:01)
nowhere to disappear.
(00:17:04)
That's why Jesus said, "Flee to the
(00:17:06)
mountains." That's why the wilderness
(00:17:09)
becomes the only sanctuary.
(00:17:12)
That's why God has prepared a place far
(00:17:14)
from the surveillance grid, far from the
(00:17:17)
economic system, far from the
(00:17:19)
Antichrist's reach.
(00:17:22)
Discovery 7. The wilderness becomes the
(00:17:26)
final sanctuary.
(00:17:29)
But the wilderness isn't just about
(00:17:31)
survival. It's about spiritual
(00:17:33)
purification and preparation for
(00:17:36)
Christ's return.
(00:17:38)
Hosea 2:14-15.
(00:17:42)
Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
(00:17:45)
will bring her into the wilderness and
(00:17:47)
speak comfort to her. I will give her
(00:17:50)
her vineyards from there and the valley
(00:17:52)
of a core as a door of hope. She shall
(00:17:56)
sing there as in the days of her youth,
(00:17:59)
as in the day when she came up from the
(00:18:01)
land of Egypt. The wilderness becomes a
(00:18:04)
place of intimate communion with God,
(00:18:07)
away from the distractions of modern
(00:18:09)
life, away from the deceptions of the
(00:18:12)
Antichrist system, away from the noise
(00:18:16)
and chaos of the collapsing world.
(00:18:19)
Believers will experience God's presence
(00:18:21)
and provision in ways they never could
(00:18:24)
in comfortable circumstances.
(00:18:27)
Revelation 6:9-11
(00:18:30)
shows us the souls of tribulation,
(00:18:32)
martyrs under the altar, crying out for
(00:18:36)
justice. But those who flee to the
(00:18:38)
wilderness, won't just be victims.
(00:18:41)
They'll be witnesses, worshippers, and
(00:18:44)
warriors in the spiritual battle. The
(00:18:48)
first day of fleeing may be the first
(00:18:50)
step of faith you've ever taken. Many
(00:18:52)
people who find themselves in the
(00:18:54)
tribulation will have been nominal
(00:18:56)
Christians, cultural believers, or
(00:18:59)
people who thought they were saved but
(00:19:02)
never truly surrendered their lives to
(00:19:04)
Christ. The crisis will force them to
(00:19:07)
choose genuine faith or eternal
(00:19:11)
destruction.
(00:19:13)
The wilderness becomes the place where
(00:19:15)
authentic faith is forged.
(00:19:18)
So here's the practical question. What
(00:19:20)
exactly should you do the moment you see
(00:19:22)
the abomination of desolation? What's
(00:19:25)
the stepbystep action plan for
(00:19:27)
tribulation survivors?
(00:19:29)
Run. Matthew 24:16-18.
(00:19:34)
Then let those who are in Judea flee to
(00:19:37)
the mountains. Let him who is on the
(00:19:40)
housetop not go down to take anything
(00:19:42)
out of his house. And let him who is in
(00:19:45)
the field not go back to get his
(00:19:48)
clothes. Don't pack. Don't gather
(00:19:51)
belongings. Don't stop to secure your
(00:19:54)
property or say goodbye to friends. The
(00:19:58)
urgency is absolute
(00:20:00)
and the danger is immediate.
(00:20:03)
Separate. Revelation 18:4.
(00:20:08)
Come out of her, my people, lest you
(00:20:10)
share in her sins and lest you receive
(00:20:13)
of her plagues.
(00:20:16)
Gather. Hebrews 10:25.
(00:20:19)
Not forsaking the assembling of
(00:20:21)
ourselves together, as is the manner of
(00:20:24)
some, but exhorting one another, and so
(00:20:27)
much the more as you see the day
(00:20:29)
approaching.
(00:20:31)
Find other believers.
(00:20:33)
Form communities of faith in the
(00:20:35)
wilderness places.
(00:20:37)
survive. Matthew 6:26.
(00:20:40)
Look at the birds of the air, for they
(00:20:43)
neither sow nor reap nor gather into
(00:20:45)
barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds
(00:20:48)
them. Are you not of more value than
(00:20:51)
they? Trust God for supernatural
(00:20:54)
provision just like he provided for
(00:20:57)
Israel in the wilderness.
(00:21:00)
Endure. Revelation 2:10.
(00:21:03)
Be faithful until death. and I will give
(00:21:07)
you the crown of life.
(00:21:10)
Some will be martyed, others will
(00:21:12)
survive until Christ's return. Both are
(00:21:16)
victories if you remain faithful.
(00:21:20)
Discovery 8, the prophetic map. Is Petra
(00:21:24)
the place?
(00:21:27)
But here's the question that could save
(00:21:29)
thousands of lives.
(00:21:31)
Where exactly is this wilderness refuge
(00:21:34)
that God has prepared?
(00:21:37)
Many prophecy scholars believe the
(00:21:38)
answer is Petra, the ancient rock city
(00:21:41)
in southern Jordan. Is Petra where the
(00:21:45)
countdown to Christ's return begins?
(00:21:48)
Consider the evidence. Petra is a
(00:21:51)
natural fortress carved into solid rock
(00:21:54)
cliffs. It has only one narrow entrance
(00:21:57)
that could be easily defended. It has
(00:21:59)
natural water sources and could
(00:22:02)
potentially support a large population.
(00:22:05)
It's in the wilderness, isolated from
(00:22:07)
major population centers and
(00:22:09)
surveillance networks. But most
(00:22:12)
importantly, it may be specifically
(00:22:14)
mentioned in biblical prophecy. Isaiah
(00:22:17)
16:1 to4
(00:22:19)
send the lamb to the ruler of the land,
(00:22:22)
from Salah to the wilderness to the
(00:22:24)
mount of the daughter of Zion. For it
(00:22:27)
shall be as a wandering bird cast out of
(00:22:30)
the nest. So shall be the daughters of
(00:22:32)
Moab at the fords of the Arnum. Take
(00:22:36)
counsel. Execute judgment. Make your
(00:22:39)
shadow like the night in the middle of
(00:22:41)
the day. Hide the outcasts. Do not
(00:22:44)
betray him who escapes. Let my outcasts
(00:22:47)
dwell with you, O Moab. Be a shelter to
(00:22:50)
them from the face of the spoiler.
(00:22:53)
From Cellah to the wilderness. Selah
(00:22:57)
means rock in Hebrew, and many scholars
(00:23:00)
believe this refers to Petra.
(00:23:03)
Could God have chosen this ancient city
(00:23:06)
hidden in the mountains of Jordan as his
(00:23:09)
prepared place for the final 1,260
(00:23:13)
days? The logistics would be miraculous,
(00:23:17)
but not impossible for the God who fed
(00:23:20)
Israel with mana for 40 years.
(00:23:25)
Discovery nine. Fleeing isn't failure.
(00:23:28)
It's obedience.
(00:23:31)
But here's what you need to understand.
(00:23:33)
If you find yourself needing to follow
(00:23:35)
these instructions, fleeing to the
(00:23:37)
wilderness isn't a sign of defeat or
(00:23:40)
spiritual failure. It's obedience to
(00:23:43)
Christ's direct commands.
(00:23:45)
Hebrews 11:7.
(00:23:48)
By faith, Noah, being divinely warned of
(00:23:51)
things not yet seen, moved with godly
(00:23:54)
fear, prepared an ark for the saving of
(00:23:57)
his household, by which he condemned the
(00:24:00)
world, and became heir of the
(00:24:02)
righteousness, which is according to
(00:24:04)
faith.
(00:24:06)
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you
(00:24:08)
can do is run when God says run. The
(00:24:13)
Christians who fled Jerusalem in 70 AD
(00:24:16)
weren't cowards. They were the only ones
(00:24:18)
wise enough to believe Jesus's warning
(00:24:21)
and act on it. Running from the
(00:24:24)
Antichrist system isn't compromise. It's
(00:24:27)
faithfulness.
(00:24:29)
Staying in the cities, taking the mark,
(00:24:32)
participating in the beast's economy.
(00:24:34)
That would be the real spiritual
(00:24:36)
failure. Because what the tribulation
(00:24:39)
ultimately reveals is the final division
(00:24:42)
of humanity into two groups and only two
(00:24:46)
groups. Those who worship the lamb and
(00:24:50)
those who worship the beast. Not race,
(00:24:53)
not nationality,
(00:24:55)
not economic status, not political
(00:24:58)
affiliation.
(00:25:00)
Worship will divide the world.
(00:25:03)
Revelation 14:1.
(00:25:06)
Then I looked, and behold, a lamb
(00:25:09)
standing on Mount Zion, and with him
(00:25:12)
144,000,
(00:25:14)
having his father's name written on
(00:25:15)
their foreheads. Revelation 13:16.
(00:25:20)
He causes all, both small and great,
(00:25:24)
rich and poor, free and slave, to
(00:25:27)
receive a mark on their right hand or on
(00:25:30)
their foreheads.
(00:25:32)
Two marks, two allegiances,
(00:25:35)
two eternal destinies.
(00:25:37)
Picture the scenes. Mothers clutching
(00:25:40)
children as they flee to mountain
(00:25:42)
hideouts. Believers burying Bibles to
(00:25:45)
preserve God's word. Small groups
(00:25:48)
gathering in caves to worship the true
(00:25:50)
king while the world bows to the false
(00:25:53)
one. These won't be scenes of defeat.
(00:25:57)
They'll be scenes of victory.
(00:25:59)
Because every person who chooses
(00:26:01)
suffering over the mark, who chooses
(00:26:03)
wilderness over worldliness, who chooses
(00:26:06)
faithfulness over comfort, they're
(00:26:09)
choosing eternal life over eternal
(00:26:12)
death. And here's the glorious climax to
(00:26:15)
this story of flight and refuge. The
(00:26:18)
wilderness experience doesn't end in
(00:26:20)
death or defeat. It ends with the most
(00:26:23)
spectacular rescue in history. The
(00:26:27)
tribulation ends not with surrender but
(00:26:30)
with the king's return.
(00:26:33)
Revelation 16:16.
(00:26:36)
And they gathered them together to the
(00:26:39)
place called in Hebrew Armageddon.
(00:26:43)
As the 1,260
(00:26:45)
days of wilderness refuge near their
(00:26:47)
end, the world's armies will gather for
(00:26:50)
the final battle against God. The
(00:26:53)
Antichrist will marshall every military
(00:26:56)
force on Earth for one last desperate
(00:26:59)
attempt to prevent Christ's return. But
(00:27:03)
the wilderness remnant survives and
(00:27:06)
watches the sky split.
(00:27:09)
Revelation 19:11-16.
(00:27:13)
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a
(00:27:17)
white horse. And he who sat on him was
(00:27:20)
called faithful and true. And in
(00:27:23)
righteousness he judges and makes war.
(00:27:27)
And he has on his robe and on his thigh
(00:27:29)
a name written, King of Kings and Lord
(00:27:33)
of Lords.
(00:27:35)
Jesus returns not in whispers, but in
(00:27:39)
fire. And those who fled to the
(00:27:41)
wilderness, who endured the persecution,
(00:27:44)
who refused the mark, who remained
(00:27:47)
faithful through the darkest period in
(00:27:49)
human history, they get to witness the
(00:27:52)
most glorious moment in human history.
(00:27:55)
The king returns to claim his kingdom.
(00:27:58)
Jesus already told us how to recognize
(00:28:01)
the Antichrist.
(00:28:03)
Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus revealed the
(00:28:06)
truth about a man and the times that he
(00:28:09)
would bring with him. What if I told you
(00:28:12)
that while the world debates who the
(00:28:14)
Antichrist might be, Jesus Christ
(00:28:17)
already gave us his complete profile
(00:28:20)
2,000 years ago. In this video, I am
(00:28:24)
going to reveal four of those traits and
(00:28:26)
what 99% of Christians get wrong.
(00:28:31)
Trait number one, he will come with an
(00:28:34)
abomination and target Israel
(00:28:36)
specifically.
(00:28:39)
The first sign Jesus gave us is also the
(00:28:42)
most specific. The Antichrist will
(00:28:44)
commit an abomination in Jerusalem. And
(00:28:46)
when this happens, the Jewish people in
(00:28:48)
Judea must flee immediately. Here's
(00:28:51)
exactly what Jesus said. So when you see
(00:28:55)
standing in the holy place the
(00:28:57)
abomination that causes desolation
(00:28:59)
spoken of through the prophet Daniel,
(00:29:02)
let the reader understand. Then let
(00:29:04)
those who are in Judea flee to the
(00:29:07)
mountains.
(00:29:09)
Now notice something crucial about this
(00:29:11)
warning. Jesus doesn't say when people
(00:29:14)
around the world see this or when
(00:29:17)
humanity sees this. He specifically
(00:29:20)
says, "Let those who are in Judea flee."
(00:29:24)
This is a geographically specific
(00:29:26)
warning about a locationspecific event
(00:29:30)
targeting a specific people group. But
(00:29:33)
to understand why this is so
(00:29:35)
significant, I need to take you back to
(00:29:37)
one of the most horrific events in
(00:29:39)
Jewish history. Because what Jesus is
(00:29:42)
describing isn't just a future event.
(00:29:45)
It's the repetition of a pattern that's
(00:29:48)
already happened twice. Let me tell you
(00:29:51)
the story of Antiochus Epiphies because
(00:29:54)
this story will help you understand
(00:29:56)
exactly what Jesus was warning about.
(00:29:59)
It's 168 BC. A Syrian king named
(00:30:03)
Antiochus Epiphies controls Jerusalem.
(00:30:08)
The Jewish people are trying to maintain
(00:30:10)
their faith under foreign rule. But
(00:30:12)
Antiochus has a different plan. He wants
(00:30:16)
to helanize the entire region, force
(00:30:19)
everyone to adopt Greek culture and
(00:30:21)
religion. So, Antiochus does something
(00:30:24)
that outrages the Jewish people beyond
(00:30:27)
words. He marches into the temple into
(00:30:30)
the Holy of Holies where only the high
(00:30:33)
priest was allowed to go once a year. He
(00:30:36)
sets up an altar to Zeus. He sacrifices
(00:30:39)
a pig on the sacred altar. And then he
(00:30:43)
erects a statue of Zeus in the temple
(00:30:46)
and demands that everyone worship it.
(00:30:49)
This was an abomination,
(00:30:52)
a deliberate desecration of the holiest
(00:30:54)
place on earth, and the Jewish response
(00:30:57)
was immediate and violent. The Makabian
(00:31:01)
revolt began, leading to years of
(00:31:03)
warfare until the temple was finally
(00:31:06)
cleansed and rededicated.
(00:31:08)
An event we still celebrate today as
(00:31:11)
Hanukkah. But here's what's
(00:31:13)
prophetically significant about this
(00:31:15)
story. The prophet Daniel had predicted
(00:31:18)
this exact event 400 years before it
(00:31:21)
happened. In Daniel 11:31, he wrote,
(00:31:26)
"His armed forces will rise up to
(00:31:28)
desecrate the temple fortress and will
(00:31:31)
abolish the daily sacrifice.
(00:31:34)
Then they will set up the abomination
(00:31:36)
that causes desolation."
(00:31:39)
Now, when Jesus refers to the
(00:31:42)
abomination that causes desolation
(00:31:44)
spoken of through the prophet Daniel,
(00:31:47)
he's connecting this future event to
(00:31:49)
that historical pattern. But here's what
(00:31:52)
makes this even more remarkable.
(00:31:54)
Daniel didn't just prophecy about
(00:31:56)
Antiochus. He prophesied about multiple
(00:31:59)
abominations.
(00:32:01)
And Jesus is warning about the final
(00:32:03)
one. In 70 AD, we saw another partial
(00:32:07)
fulfillment when Roman legions destroyed
(00:32:09)
the temple and planted their eagle
(00:32:11)
standards where the Holy of Holies had
(00:32:13)
been. But that wasn't the complete
(00:32:16)
fulfillment Jesus was talking about
(00:32:18)
because it wasn't followed by the other
(00:32:20)
signs he described. So what is Jesus
(00:32:23)
warning about for the future? He's
(00:32:25)
warning about a time when another world
(00:32:27)
leader will enter a rebuilt temple in
(00:32:30)
Jerusalem and commit an act so
(00:32:32)
blasphemous, so outrageous to God and to
(00:32:36)
the Jewish people that it will trigger
(00:32:38)
the final countdown to his return.
(00:32:42)
Now, here's where this gets absolutely
(00:32:45)
fascinating from a prophetic standpoint.
(00:32:48)
For this prophecy to be fulfilled,
(00:32:50)
several things have to be in place.
(00:32:53)
There has to be a temple in Jerusalem.
(00:32:56)
There has to be a Jewish presence in the
(00:32:58)
land. There has to be some kind of
(00:33:00)
religious system operating that can be
(00:33:03)
abominated.
(00:33:04)
For 1,878
(00:33:07)
years from 70 AD to 1948, this seemed
(00:33:11)
impossible. The Jewish people were
(00:33:14)
scattered around the world. Jerusalem
(00:33:17)
was controlled by foreign powers. There
(00:33:20)
was no temple, no sacrifice, no visible
(00:33:23)
way for this prophecy to be fulfilled.
(00:33:26)
But then something remarkable happened.
(00:33:29)
In 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation.
(00:33:34)
In 1967,
(00:33:36)
Jerusalem came back under Jewish control
(00:33:38)
for the first time in nearly 2,000
(00:33:41)
years. And today, for the first time
(00:33:44)
since 70 AD, we have Jewish religious
(00:33:47)
movements actively preparing to rebuild
(00:33:50)
the temple. The Temple Institute in
(00:33:53)
Jerusalem has recreated all the vessels,
(00:33:56)
garments, and instruments needed for
(00:33:58)
temple service. They've trained priests
(00:34:01)
in the proper procedures.
(00:34:03)
But there's something else about this
(00:34:05)
first sign that's crucial to understand.
(00:34:08)
And this is where it connects to current
(00:34:10)
events in a way that should get your
(00:34:13)
attention.
(00:34:14)
Jesus specifically warned the people in
(00:34:17)
Judea to flee. Not people around the
(00:34:21)
world, not Christians in general, the
(00:34:24)
people in Judea, which means the Jewish
(00:34:27)
people living in Israel.
(00:34:29)
Why is this targeting so specific?
(00:34:32)
Because the Antichrist's hatred isn't
(00:34:34)
random. It's focused. Throughout
(00:34:38)
history, Satan has tried to destroy the
(00:34:40)
Jewish people because he knows that
(00:34:42)
God's prophetic plan runs through
(00:34:45)
Israel. If he can eliminate the Jewish
(00:34:47)
people, he can prevent God's promises
(00:34:50)
from being fulfilled. We've seen this
(00:34:53)
pattern repeatedly. Pharaoh tried to
(00:34:56)
destroy the Hebrews in Egypt. Hmon tried
(00:34:59)
to eliminate them in Persia. Antiochus
(00:35:02)
tried to eradicate their religion. And
(00:35:05)
the Antichrist will make one last
(00:35:07)
attempt. But here's what makes this
(00:35:10)
final attempt different from all the
(00:35:12)
others. And this is something that leads
(00:35:14)
directly to our second sign. The
(00:35:17)
abomination won't just trigger
(00:35:19)
persecution of the Jewish people. It
(00:35:22)
will trigger something far worse.
(00:35:25)
Sign number two, his rule will lead to
(00:35:28)
the great tribulation.
(00:35:32)
The second sign Jesus gave us is the
(00:35:34)
most sobering. The Antichrist's rule
(00:35:37)
will trigger a period of suffering
(00:35:39)
unlike anything in human history. Here's
(00:35:42)
exactly what Jesus said in Matthew
(00:35:45)
24:21.
(00:35:47)
For then there will be great distress,
(00:35:50)
unequaled from the beginning of the
(00:35:52)
world until now, and never to be equaled
(00:35:56)
again.
(00:35:58)
Let me help you understand the magnitude
(00:36:00)
of what Jesus is describing here. He's
(00:36:03)
not talking about a regional conflict.
(00:36:06)
He's not talking about a natural
(00:36:07)
disaster. He's not talking about a war
(00:36:10)
between nations. He's talking about a
(00:36:13)
period of global catastrophe that will
(00:36:16)
be worse than every tragedy in human
(00:36:18)
history combined.
(00:36:20)
Think about that for a moment. Jesus is
(00:36:23)
saying this period will be worse than
(00:36:25)
the flood that destroyed the ancient
(00:36:27)
world. Worse than the plagues that
(00:36:29)
devastated Egypt, worse than the
(00:36:32)
destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
(00:36:36)
Worse than the Black Death that killed a
(00:36:38)
third of Europe. Worse than World War I
(00:36:41)
with its 17 million deaths. Worse than
(00:36:44)
World War II with its 75 million
(00:36:47)
casualties.
(00:36:49)
Worse than any natural disaster. But
(00:36:52)
here's what makes this even more
(00:36:53)
remarkable. Jesus is speaking as someone
(00:36:56)
who knows all of history, past, present,
(00:37:01)
and future. When he says this will be
(00:37:04)
unprecedented, he's comparing it to
(00:37:07)
everything that has ever happened and
(00:37:09)
everything that ever will happen. And
(00:37:12)
he's saying this period will be unique
(00:37:14)
in its horror. Now, you might be
(00:37:17)
wondering, how could anything be worse
(00:37:19)
than what we've already seen? That's
(00:37:22)
exactly what I wondered until I started
(00:37:25)
studying what the Bible says will
(00:37:27)
actually happen during this time. Let me
(00:37:30)
paint you a picture of what Jesus and
(00:37:32)
the other prophets described. Because
(00:37:35)
once you see the scope of what's coming,
(00:37:37)
you'll understand why no period in
(00:37:39)
history even comes close. During the
(00:37:42)
great tribulation, the Bible tells us
(00:37:44)
that a third of all vegetation will be
(00:37:47)
burned up. A third of the sea will turn
(00:37:50)
to blood. A third of all sea creatures
(00:37:53)
will die. The sun will scorch people
(00:37:56)
with intense heat. Darkness will cover
(00:37:59)
the earth. Hail weighing 100 lb will
(00:38:03)
fall from the sky. Earthquakes will be
(00:38:06)
so severe that every mountain and island
(00:38:09)
will be moved from its place. But that's
(00:38:12)
just the environmental devastation. The
(00:38:15)
human cost will be even more staggering.
(00:38:18)
The book of Revelation tells us that
(00:38:20)
during this period, supernatural beings
(00:38:22)
will be released to torment humanity for
(00:38:25)
5 months with pain so severe that people
(00:38:29)
will seek death but won't be able to
(00:38:31)
die. Demonic armies numbering 200
(00:38:35)
million will kill a third of mankind.
(00:38:39)
The seas will become like the blood of a
(00:38:41)
dead person. Rivers and springs will
(00:38:45)
turn to blood. And overseeing all of
(00:38:48)
this will be the Antichrist,
(00:38:51)
wielding power unlike any dictator in
(00:38:54)
history.
(00:38:55)
But here's what I want you to understand
(00:38:57)
about the connection between the
(00:38:59)
Antichrist and the Great Tribulation.
(00:39:02)
Because this is crucial. The Great
(00:39:05)
Tribulation isn't just a period of
(00:39:07)
general chaos. It's the direct result of
(00:39:10)
the Antichrist's rebellion against God
(00:39:13)
and his persecution of God's people. The
(00:39:16)
book of Revelation tells us that the
(00:39:18)
Antichrist will be given authority over
(00:39:21)
every tribe, people, language, and
(00:39:24)
nation. He will control global commerce
(00:39:27)
through a mark system where no one can
(00:39:29)
buy or sell without his approval. He
(00:39:33)
will demand worship as God. And he will
(00:39:36)
wage war against anyone who refuses to
(00:39:39)
submit. But here's what makes this
(00:39:41)
different from every other dictatorship
(00:39:43)
in history. And this is where modern
(00:39:46)
technology becomes prophetically
(00:39:49)
significant.
(00:39:51)
For the first time in human history, the
(00:39:53)
technology exists for one person to
(00:39:56)
actually control the entire global
(00:39:59)
population.
(00:40:01)
Think about what we have today that no
(00:40:03)
previous generation has ever had. We
(00:40:06)
have global communication systems that
(00:40:08)
can reach every person on Earth
(00:40:10)
instantly. We have surveillance
(00:40:13)
technology that can track every
(00:40:15)
movement, every transaction, every
(00:40:18)
communication.
(00:40:20)
We have digital currency systems that
(00:40:22)
could eliminate cash and control all
(00:40:25)
economic activity. We have artificial
(00:40:28)
intelligence that could monitor and
(00:40:31)
analyze the behavior of billions of
(00:40:33)
people simultaneously.
(00:40:35)
We have for the first time in history
(00:40:38)
the technological infrastructure for the
(00:40:40)
kind of global control that the Bible
(00:40:43)
prophesies the antichrist will wield.
(00:40:46)
But here's what's truly chilling about
(00:40:48)
this from a prophetic perspective. The
(00:40:51)
Bible tells us that the antichrist's
(00:40:53)
control won't just be political and
(00:40:55)
economic. It will be religious.
(00:40:59)
Revelation 13:8 says that all
(00:41:03)
inhabitants of the earth will worship
(00:41:05)
the beast. All whose names have not been
(00:41:07)
written in the lamb's book of life. This
(00:41:10)
isn't just about controlling behavior.
(00:41:13)
This is about controlling belief, about
(00:41:16)
demanding not just compliance but
(00:41:19)
worship. And we're seeing the foundation
(00:41:22)
for this being laid as well. Traditional
(00:41:25)
Christianity is being marginalized in
(00:41:27)
many parts of the world. Biblical values
(00:41:30)
are being labeled as hate speech.
(00:41:33)
Religious freedom is being redefined as
(00:41:35)
freedom from religion rather than
(00:41:37)
freedom of religion. At the same time,
(00:41:40)
we're seeing the rise of global
(00:41:42)
spirituality movements that emphasize
(00:41:45)
unity over truth, experience over
(00:41:48)
scripture, and human potential over
(00:41:50)
divine sovereignty. These movements are
(00:41:54)
preparing the world to accept a leader
(00:41:56)
who will promise spiritual enlightenment
(00:41:59)
and global unity. But here's what you
(00:42:02)
need to understand about this period.
(00:42:04)
And this is something that leads
(00:42:06)
directly to our third and most hopeful
(00:42:09)
sign. The great tribulation isn't just
(00:42:13)
about the antichrist's power. It's also
(00:42:15)
about God's judgment. The suffering
(00:42:18)
during this period isn't random. It's
(00:42:21)
purposeful.
(00:42:22)
God is using this time to accomplish
(00:42:24)
several things. To judge sin, to purify
(00:42:28)
his people, to demonstrate his power,
(00:42:31)
and to bring about the final salvation
(00:42:34)
of Israel. Which brings us to the third
(00:42:36)
sign Jesus gave us. And this one should
(00:42:40)
fill every believer with hope and
(00:42:42)
confidence, no matter how dark the world
(00:42:45)
becomes. Sign number three, his rule
(00:42:49)
will be limited.
(00:42:52)
The third sign Jesus gave us is the most
(00:42:55)
encouraging. The Antichrist's rule will
(00:42:58)
be limited by God himself. Here's
(00:43:01)
exactly what Jesus said in Matthew
(00:43:03)
24:22.
(00:43:05)
If those days had not been cut short, no
(00:43:08)
one would survive. But for the sake of
(00:43:11)
the elect, those days will be shortened.
(00:43:15)
This is one of the most hopeful verses
(00:43:17)
in all of prophecy. And here's why.
(00:43:20)
Jesus is telling us that no matter how
(00:43:22)
powerful the Antichrist becomes, no
(00:43:24)
matter how dark the world gets, no
(00:43:27)
matter how hopeless things might seem,
(00:43:30)
God is still in control and God will
(00:43:33)
intervene to save humanity from total
(00:43:35)
destruction. But let me help you
(00:43:38)
understand the full significance of what
(00:43:40)
Jesus is promising here. Because there
(00:43:42)
are layers to this verse that reveal
(00:43:45)
just how sovereign God is over even the
(00:43:48)
darkest period in human history. First,
(00:43:52)
notice that Jesus says, "If those days
(00:43:55)
had not been cut short, no one would
(00:43:58)
survive." This implies that the
(00:44:00)
Antichrist's power and the devastation
(00:44:03)
of the great tribulation would be so
(00:44:05)
severe that it would lead to human
(00:44:08)
extinction.
(00:44:10)
We're talking about the complete
(00:44:11)
annihilation of the human race. For most
(00:44:14)
of history, this seemed like an
(00:44:16)
exaggeration.
(00:44:18)
How could any ruler, no matter how evil,
(00:44:22)
actually threaten the survival of all
(00:44:24)
humanity? But today, for the first time
(00:44:27)
in history, we have the technology to
(00:44:30)
make that possible. We have nuclear
(00:44:33)
weapons capable of destroying all life
(00:44:35)
on Earth multiple times over. We have
(00:44:38)
biological weapons that could release
(00:44:40)
engineered plagues. We have cyber
(00:44:43)
weapons that could shut down the
(00:44:45)
infrastructure that keeps modern
(00:44:47)
civilization functioning. The antichrist
(00:44:49)
will have access to all of these
(00:44:51)
technologies and more. But here's the
(00:44:54)
promise. God will intervene. The phrase
(00:44:58)
those days will be shortened is a divine
(00:45:01)
guarantee. It's not a possibility. It's
(00:45:04)
not dependent on human action. It's a
(00:45:07)
sovereign decree from the God who
(00:45:09)
controls all of history. But notice why
(00:45:12)
God will intervene.
(00:45:14)
For the sake of the elect. God's people
(00:45:18)
are the reason God will cut short this
(00:45:21)
period of unprecedented suffering. Even
(00:45:24)
in the darkest hour in human history,
(00:45:26)
God's love for his people will move him
(00:45:29)
to action. Now, let me show you just how
(00:45:33)
specific God has been about these
(00:45:35)
limitations. Because when you see the
(00:45:37)
biblical timeline, you'll understand
(00:45:40)
that God hasn't just promised to limit
(00:45:42)
this period. He's already set the exact
(00:45:45)
duration.
(00:45:46)
In Daniel 9:27, we're told that the
(00:45:50)
Antichrist will confirm a covenant with
(00:45:52)
many for one week, a period of 7 years
(00:45:55)
in biblical prophecy. But in the middle
(00:45:58)
of that week, he will break the covenant
(00:46:01)
and set up the abomination we discussed
(00:46:03)
earlier. This means the antichrist's
(00:46:06)
total power will last for exactly 3.5
(00:46:09)
years. And the Bible gives us multiple
(00:46:12)
confirmations of this time frame.
(00:46:15)
Revelation 13 says the beast will be
(00:46:18)
given authority for 42 months. That's
(00:46:22)
exactly 3.5 years.
(00:46:25)
Revelation 12:6 says, "The woman
(00:46:28)
representing Israel will be protected in
(00:46:30)
the wilderness for 1,260
(00:46:34)
days." That's exactly 3.5 years. Daniel
(00:46:39)
7:25 says, "The saints will be given
(00:46:42)
into the Antichrist's hand for a time,
(00:46:45)
times, and half a time." In biblical
(00:46:49)
terminology, that's 1 year plus 2 years
(00:46:53)
plus half a year. Exactly 3.5 years. Do
(00:46:58)
you see the precision here? God hasn't
(00:47:01)
just promised to limit the Antichrist's
(00:47:03)
rule. He's already set the exact
(00:47:06)
duration down to the day. The Antichrist
(00:47:08)
cannot extend his reign by even one hour
(00:47:11)
beyond what God has predetermined.
(00:47:14)
But here's what makes this even more
(00:47:16)
remarkable. The Bible doesn't just tell
(00:47:19)
us how long the Antichrist's rule will
(00:47:21)
last. It tells us exactly how it will
(00:47:24)
end. And when you understand God's plan
(00:47:27)
for ending this period, you'll see that
(00:47:30)
every detail has been predetermined.
(00:47:33)
The end begins with the battle of
(00:47:35)
Armageddon.
(00:47:36)
Revelation 16:16
(00:47:39)
tells us that the kings of the whole
(00:47:41)
world will be gathered to the place that
(00:47:43)
in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
(00:47:47)
This isn't just a battle. It's a trap.
(00:47:50)
God is drawing all of his enemies to one
(00:47:53)
location for final judgment. The
(00:47:56)
Antichrist will think he's gathering the
(00:47:58)
armies of the world to destroy Israel
(00:48:01)
once and for all. He'll surround
(00:48:04)
Jerusalem with forces from every nation.
(00:48:07)
He'll have superior numbers, superior
(00:48:10)
technology, superior firepower. From a
(00:48:14)
human perspective, Israel's destruction
(00:48:17)
will seem certain. But then something
(00:48:19)
will happen that will change everything
(00:48:22)
in an instant. Revelation 19:11 tells
(00:48:26)
us, "I saw heaven standing open, and
(00:48:29)
there before me was a white horse, whose
(00:48:32)
rider is called faithful and true. With
(00:48:35)
justice he judges and wages war. Jesus
(00:48:39)
Christ will return not as the suffering
(00:48:43)
servant who died on a cross but as the
(00:48:45)
conquering king who will establish his
(00:48:48)
kingdom on earth and his victory will be
(00:48:51)
immediate and total. Revelation 19:20
(00:48:54)
tells us what will happen to the
(00:48:56)
antichrist.
(00:48:58)
But the beast was captured and with it
(00:49:01)
the false prophet who had performed the
(00:49:04)
signs on its behalf. The two of them
(00:49:07)
were thrown alive into the fiery lake of
(00:49:10)
burning sulfur.
(00:49:12)
No trial, no negotiation,
(00:49:16)
no gradual defeat, instant judgment and
(00:49:20)
eternal punishment.
(00:49:22)
But here's what I want you to understand
(00:49:24)
about this ending. Because it reveals
(00:49:26)
something crucial about God's character.
(00:49:30)
The same God who allows the Antichrist
(00:49:32)
to rise to power is the God who will
(00:49:35)
destroy him. The same God who permits
(00:49:38)
the great tribulation is the God who
(00:49:40)
will end it. The same God who seems
(00:49:43)
absent during the darkest days of
(00:49:45)
history is the God who will vindicate
(00:49:48)
himself and his people in the end. This
(00:49:51)
should give us tremendous confidence as
(00:49:53)
we watch current events unfold. No
(00:49:56)
matter how powerful evil becomes, no
(00:49:59)
matter how hopeless things might seem,
(00:50:01)
no matter how much the forces of
(00:50:03)
darkness appear to be winning, God's
(00:50:06)
victory is certain. And that victory
(00:50:08)
isn't just future. It's already been
(00:50:11)
accomplished. The cross of Christ
(00:50:14)
guaranteed Satan's defeat. The
(00:50:17)
resurrection of Christ demonstrated
(00:50:20)
God's power over death. The return of
(00:50:23)
Christ will be the final execution of a
(00:50:26)
verdict that was already rendered 2,000
(00:50:28)
years ago.
(00:50:30)
Many seem to be confused because they do
(00:50:33)
not understand the book of Revelation.
(00:50:36)
However, what if there was an animation
(00:50:39)
showing the entire book? Well, we
(00:50:43)
created that. And to watch that, click
(00:50:46)
here.
